Balance Belt - The Training Wheels Eliminator!

I'm not sure if it's the product or just my child, but he leans into it rather than it helping him to sit up. And he hates it. We only tried to use it for about 20 minutes. Just didn't work for us.I just wanted to add that the customer service for this product has been great. When I was not satisfied with the product, the emailed me with suggestions on how to help it be useful to my son. Even though I still do not believe it will work for my child, and after reporting this back to them, they refunded my money. I appreciate that.

Okay, if you're on the fence about getting this thing, stop thinking about it and just do it! This balance belt is AMAZING, period. The first day we used it, my daughter was a mess, lol. We were practically carrying her as we went, but once she realized we were there for here and there was no way she could fall, she finally started putting her all into it. We were blown away by the progress on just the second day! We introduced this last Sunday, practiced about 10 minutes most afternoons through the week, and by this Sunday, a week later, she was telling us she wanted to try it without the belt, and she was off! That same day she was riding faster, attempting turns, and just grinning from ear to ear because she was so proud of herself. I love seeing that look of pride on her face - it's awesome! I honestly have no idea how she would have ever gotten the hang of riding without training wheels without this. She was so far off just a week ago, yet here she is riding on two wheels on her own!! This is one of the best products I've ever bought and will be spreading the word!!

Did not work. My son just kept putting his foot down when he leaned. He did not feel confident. It's hard to get the tension right. Also, I'm not sure I'm strong enough. It takes a lot of strength to pull an 8 year old from side to side. Returning.

I was skeptical of this bc my 4 year old was a hot mess without training wheels, but I felt it was time for him to ditch them. We did buy a balance bike the month before but mastering that alone didn't give him enough confidence to ride without training wheels. At first I felt the belt was no different than me balancing him on his handle bars, but it actually is completely different. Helping balance him without balance belt meant basically doing all the balancing for him so he never progressed. The balance belt helped bc I adjusted the help I gave him daily. The first day was a hot mess and I felt like I had all his weight and held the belt tight. After 20 minutes a day for 4 days, I was to the point where I felt no pressure against me on the balance belt so I let go and boom! 4 year old is now riding 2 wheels solo. Thank you for this great product. I feel as though it prevented the million bruises and bumps I got when I learned to ride a bike!

We used this with our 5 and 6 year old sons and they were riding independently the same day. They had been practicing with a smaller bike with training wheels so they were already familiar with steering and pedaling. The belt seemed to help their confidence and guide them with their balance. We are really happy with it! We had tried cold turkey no training wheels one day about a year ago, on a much smaller, poor quality bike and they just didn’t seem quite ready and struggled to maintain balance and were apprehensive about getting up to speed to make balancing easier. The belt just made a huge difference in giving them the support when they were right on the edge of doing it. So proud of them and thankful for how easy it was!

If I could I would give it 0 stars! Broke on very first use! The handle just ripped right out on my very first outing and I wasn’t even pulling hard on it. Good thing my son wasn’t going fast on the bike. Would not recommend to anyone. Wound not trust it to hold your child up in case of a tip over.

I don’t usually leave reviews for items but felt compelled to for the balance belt. I Was able to get my child off of training wheels in only 2 days. Not to mention without any falls which is especially amazing because my daughter had limited practice even on a bike with training wheels. Will definitely recommend to anyone and I am already looking forward to teaching the rest of my children.Update. 2nd child was trained at age 5 to go from training wheels to no training wheels in 20 minutes.. I may have learned some from teaching my first child but still 20 minutes. I still would recommend to anyone.

it didn't work out. My daughter couldn't really balance on her own and keep leaning on the belt. I am just too tired holding onto her after one block.
