I'm still using my first Aspen brace that I bought 10 years ago, it still works fine. I orininally paid $89 for one, and I've been completely satisfied with it and would have happily paid more. When I noticed the Amazon price had dropped down to $49, I snagged another one as a backup, in case they stop making them someday.Pros:* The stiff rear "plate" is super supportive for both lower and middle back.* Very well made and durable.* The string tightening mechanism is superior to other types because there is zero stretch. Once tightened it stays put.* Wide range of adjustability.Cons:* I can't think of any.
