PLH HM-BSE-3-BT-CL Health Mate Renew III Infrared Sauna

I just experienced the worse customer service from Health Mate. I purchased a 3 person sauna from them mid 2011. I used the sauna at the beginning then stop following the birth of 2 kids. Now that they are older I want to use it again and noticed the display on the control is not working and infared led panel is not working. I contacted the company via email follow by a strand of emails back and forth to diagnose the problem. I told them since the control still works I can live with not seeing the number display on one side. I just need a new led panel. I was told I need to pay for the led panel because even though it is “lifetime warranty “ it is the lifetime of the led which has expired. This is truly a case of false advertisement. One reason I went with Health Mate is because of their lifetime warranty claim. I could of bought a comparable product for half the price . Furthermore, after I threatened to leave reviews of my experience they then said the new panel will not be compatible with by sauna. My brother is an electrician and he said this is just an excuse for me to go away. Hmm..if you consider buying a sauna, find a company that operates with ethics.

I purchased my Health Mate sauna in April 2006. The sauna works great when it actually works. However, the Health Mate customer service deserves an F-, and if there was a rating lower than late, I'd give them one. I have a part that needs replacing, which falls under my Lifetime Warranty, and they are refusing to honor it. I haven't been able to use my sauna in almost a month, and apparently the part I need no longer exists. This company and their so-called warranty is nothing but a scam. Stay away -- far, far away.

The media could not be loaded.  We purchased a 3 person sauna from Health Mate in 2015 and couldn’t be happier 2 yrs later! I had blood work that showed high inflammation markers and our functional medicine doctor told us the benefits of infrared for inflammation. We went home and began researching the benefits of infrared and decided to buy one. We then began the hunt through the different brands of saunas. Cedar was the 1st thing that was on our list of requirements. From there we looked at the different options and many reviews of the different brands. After wading through a lot of information we picked a 3 person sauna from Health Mate. Within 6 months my inflammation numbers dropped significantly and in a few more months they were normal.As far as customer service I’ve only had one need to call for help in two years and all was handled very well.On a side note our two elderly dachshunds love a short trip in the sauna as well! Lol.We highly recommend Health Mate!

We bought this in 2012 from Healthmate through the greensmoothiegirl promotion. The version we bought was the NSE3 which is basically the same model. I doubt I can improve on the excellent Karter video review here - and I agree wholeheartedly with her conclusions. All in all a great sauna - maybe slightly more expensive than other models, but if you read the greensmoothiegirl website review of the sauna - she explains the various reasons for spending a little more for a better quality system. Ours came with a Blaupunkt radio/system and sounds very good.In hindsight, I would have gone with the slightly larger 4 person system; so that I could lay down fully.
