These DGX premium quality Heavy-Duty Double Tank Bands offer standard 8.5-inch center to center manifold spacing, so no special manifold is required. The bands are tungsten inert gas (TIG) welded, passivated, and have deburred edges that minimizes scratching tanks during assembly. These heavy-duty bands are constructed of 18-gauge, 304 stainless steel, with a #3 satin polished finish and 11-gauge, 304 stainless steel structural plates. Every ultra high quality band is precision sheared and punched and goes through a stringent quality control test during each step of the manufacturing process. The bolts, nuts and washers included with these bands are also all made of stainless steel. The 5/16-18 all-thread headless bolts provide the option to adjust their bolt height. The headless bolts allow you to precisely adjust the bolt height to perfectly fit any brand or size of backplate and wing assembly. The 7.25-inch bands and bolts fit the 7.25-inch diameter more common cylinders such as aluminum AL80s or steel HP100's. The 7.25-inch bands and bolts also fit the 7.0-inch diameter LP85's and the 6.9-inch diameter AL72's, with the bolt height adjustment depending on the depth of the "V" in the backplate. The adjustable height bolts in the 7.25 bands and bolts kit will work fine on these slightly narrower cylinders. For metric cylinders use the 7.25-inch bands on 12.2L, 10.5L and 9L cylinders.
