It packs bearings. *by M***E on July 28, 2019* For such an inexpensive tool, it woks well, and seems like it will last. It takes a lot of pumping with a grease gun, as the empty center of the bearing race has to fill before the grease starts to ooze out. Save some pumping by pre-filling the empty space with grease using your fingers, then use the clean leftovers to pack out the cavity inside the part housing. It is pretty economical, as you only use as much grease as you need, and don't have to fill a whole packer tub with grease. It is also handy if you need to use specific grease for different bearings. The tube the grease flows through had some aluminum drilling remnants inside from manufacturing; I unscrewed the shaft from the plastic and used compressed air to blow the leftover flashing out, which would not be great to pump into your bearing... If I had a lot of bearings to pack, I would buy a tub style packer, as I had when I was a full time mechanic.
