DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DEVICE FOR USE WITH AT&T UNITE EXPLORE ( NETGEAR AIRCARD 815S ) 4G LTE WIFI HOTSPOT.
Absolutely not compatible with an AT&T Unite Explore ( NetGear Aircard 815S ) 4G LTE WiFi HotSpot. While this antenna may or may not help the WiFi signal, it all but totally cuts off the 4G LTE signal into the hotspot. Simply plugging in the antenna to the two TS-9 jacks on the 815S dropped the 4G LTE signal measured by the 815S from 4 bars to almost nothing. With no 4G LTE signal into the modem, any possible help the antenna can be giving the WiFi signal is pointless. Putting the 4G LTE label on this antenna in my experience is more than a little false advertising and marketing. This negative review will stand until the vendor contacts me and successfully resolves their problem.

Cheap replacement antenna? This is it
Worked fine hooked up to a Sprint Netgear LG6100D. It barely improved signal strength but the quality of the signal was a bit better than before. The build quality is on the cheap side but it does the job. I doubt 49dbi is achievable.

Connected this to a Netgear LB1120 modem, hoping that it would improve my signal strength. The result varied from no change to a weaker signal at times. I am returning the product and will look for a different solution.
