This is perfect for kids and teenagers! Even though there wasn't a chance that my daughters on was going to get wet when I went to the theme park I had her put her phone inside of it and wear it around her neck. Keeping your phone in her backpack it could have damaged it and she could've possibly lost it without knowing if it fell out. If we split up I can give my youngest daughter who is eight years old my phone and call her from my husbands phone and put this around her neck knowing that she will not put it down accidentally or lose it. We go to the waterpark often and we plan to go to Disney next year so these come in handy not just for protection from water or sand but for other things as well so keep that in mind. This is something I highly recommend for anyone with teenagers, children, & young adults who are very active. I also seen other kids and teenagers with the same type of product probably not the same brand wearing these around their neck with their phones inside they had the same idea as I did. Sometimes kids get forgetful and they will set the phone down while they eat or drink at a table in public and then lose it. If they drop it out of their pocket sometimes they don't realize it for maybe hours. I can't say whether or not it would be something good for taking pictures on the waterway because we haven't tried. I told my daughter if we did try it it would be a one time thing where we took a picture in a pool under the water of a friend or someone very fast but that would be about it. I wouldn't go to a water park or the beach without one of these now. We also went and watched a derby car show and it was very dusty so having phones inside of this and still be able to use the phone not talking on it but using the apps and things was very nice.

These worked really well! I only gave them 4 stars though because one of my children had to remove his phone from its case to use this pouch.

These are very well made, I love the latch to open/close them, I love that it's a 3 pack if you have more than one phone, and it's a great value in the spending department. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7, a Motorola Moto G5 Plus and a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus and all three of those phones fit in this pouch well. My S8 Plus with a case on it is a bit snug and will make the top corners where it closes bulge a little bit, but not enough to stretch or damage the pouch. They ARE waterproof and I have done the paper towel test and even dunked my phone under water for a full minute with no escape of air or water getting in. They take excellent pics through the pouch (I took the pic I have attached on my Galaxy S8 Plus inside the pouch) and using the touch screen on the phone is easy to do. I have not tried to actually use the phone under water, I use mine for kayaking, so can't say much there, but if you're in the market for a great quality waterproof pouch, these will not let you down. Oh! THEY DO NOT FLOAT, so make sure you have the lanyard on when using so your phone doesn't sink if you drop it.

I bought this because my new husband and i were going to the beach for our huneymoon. I tested the "leakproof" in the sink with tissue to make sure our phones would be safe. Passed with flying colors! The tissue came out bone dry.On the beach we never had our phones near water but we did have them near sand. Everything we had with us was CAKED in SAND by the end of the day; litterally, everything. Except our phones. When we pulled them out of the pouches they were prestine.And while they were in the pouches we could easily use the touch screens...though my husband had to turn the sensitivity up a few nothces on his... I didnt. We also used the camers while in the pouces and there little to no distortion of the photo.I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+.... so heads up. To use the pouches you will have to take your phone out of the case. The case wont fit. And during this time, my butterfings dropped my phone and cracked my screen. Not the manufacturers fault. I knew the risk.... so just be careful if you have to remove the phone from the case.

Product arrived in two days (Prime Member). The material is thin but I would assume it would be so you can push the buttons through the plastic. The clips at the top are hard to open on two of the three items I received. I will not be using them until our trip to Mexico in October so I can not rate them fully. However, one thing I am disappointed in thus far is that they do not come with the lanyard (string around your neck).

Was very skeptical. I used this on vacation. Several days at the beach. I was eventually comfortable enough with it's ability to keep my phone safe that I took it into the water while floating and took pics & video of the fam. No trouble with using the touch screen. Phone calls were possible, but a little difficulty with sound. (To be expected. ) I have a Galaxy S10+ and my daughter has an iPhone 8+, both fit fine, but only just fit. No room for error, so to speak.Definitely recommend and would absolutely buy again.

I gave these to my parents for Christmas because they live on a lake and do a lot of water recreation-type things in the summer. We tested them out in the sink with a tissue inside the case and it didn't get wet (we forgot about them and left them in the sink for quite a while). The touch screen works through the plastic case and it is clear on both sides, so you could even take a pic with it in the bag. The straps are long enough to hang around the neck. Since these could be used to carry many different objects (like money, etc.) I think this are going to be a well used item!
