Excellent for your crunchy or soft deliciousness
These taco stands are excellent.Pros1 - You can control how many stands to use at a time. Almost all other stands you are stuck with 3-4 stands that can't be separated2 - Dishwasher safe3 - Does a great job holding the tacos (see cons)4 - The stand is sturdy by itself so just using one stand, the taco doesn't cause the stand to top over5 - They come apart and can be put back together pretty easily6 - Since they come apart and are small, they don't take up much space in a drawer or if you want to keep them together and stand them up on the side of the cabinet.Cons1 - Using it for Soft tacos, the top of the taco isn't supported. Not too big of a deal since the tacos being side by side, they hold each other up2 - The bottom of the stand is on the smaller side so they hold normal tacos fine but they won't fit the stand-up tacos or if you want to completely stuff the taco like they do here in Austin3 - Not microwavable safe4 - Not oven safeEven though this seems like a lot of Cons against the product, none of them would cause me to remove a star off the rating. They are perfect for me. I love the size where they aren't bulky to store away. I love they are dishwasher safe. And I love that you can separate or combine them for whatever your taco needs are.

These are awesome!
I was a little hesitant about these due to all of the conflicting reviews - they don't hold the tacos up, you can't fit a lot of food in them, etc. My husband said he wanted some and I thought I would give them a try. I'm not one who normally writes reviews, but I have to say these things are great. We used Ortega hard shell tacos and 10 inch soft shell tacos and they worked perfectly. I'm not sure how much you want to fill up your tacos, but I filled mine up enough where food was falling out as I ate them. I'm sure the bigger the soft shell tacos it would not work as well, but when you have them connected to each other, they sort of hold each other up too. I meant to take a picture, but forgot. I will next time. All around a great product and I'm very happy I got it.

Keeps them tacos upright
These are really handy for the kids and keeping the tacos upright. I was going to get a different set that took up less room, but read that they weren't sturdy enough to hold up a stuffed taco. We have had no problems with these holders and taco spillage. I also like that you can use one alone or have them hooked together. I only give them 4 stars because it can be hard to get them together. Some slide onto each other easily and others take some real force. They snap apart easily, although I'm always afraid I'm going to break the plastic but so far so good.

Love these!
I bought these because I have made tacos from raw tortillas (as opposed to buying already formed shells) for years without an easy way to fill the shell. I propped up the shell with a seasoning jar then grabbed the next shell and attempted to fill it without knocking down the first one. Really not a great way to do things. I bought these and really love them! It makes filling them incredibly easy and helps them to hold their shape after cooking. The only ever so slight downside I have is that they are a little short (height-wise) to support the 6" diameter tortillas we like to use. Good thing for me the company that manufactures these makes a slightly larger model and I will buy a set of those for sure as they will better suit my exact needs.

A must for taco lovers
How have I gone YEARS without these?!?! Our family does Taco Tuesday, well, every Tuesday and sometimes on other days of the week. Don't judge us. We live in CA and this is just what we eat here. I would make all three of my tacos at once so I didn't have to reach for the fixin's over and over. But then everything would fall out. Ugh. Then I finally caved and got these. My life is completely different. It's changed. I'm a new woman on Taco Tuesdays, and sometimes Fridays, and Sundays. Again, don't judge. Just try these out if you love, or even like tacos.

Very Useful Product for Soft- and Hard-Shells...
These things are VERY useful for either hard-shell OR soft-shell. They're better than the molded plates, in my opinion, since these can be connected together or used singly. Also, the plastic is durable, thick, and heavy enough to use singly without worrying about them tipping over during use. They are eminently dishwasher safe, and I bought two sets for just this reason since I don't run the dishwasher every night. They really make a difference in keeping the soft-shells open and upright while building the taco/burrito. As far as soft-shells, I've only experimented with the taco-sized soft-shells, not the extra-large burrito shells. So, I'm not a 100% sure how they "stand-up" in these holders. But, since I only ever use the taco-sized soft-shells, this isn't an issue for me.

Works as advertised!
I do love tacos and this set of stands makes both filling the shells and eating the tacos I make so much easier. No more having them fall over while I'm filling them or moving them to the table. I have used as few as four stands and up to six stands on a plate and it always works out the same. That is, no more mess. Once filled I just lift them out of the stand to eat. If you like hardshell tacos you will love these stands.

Great taco shell holders, holds small fried fish too!
We have really enjoyed having these taco holders. We got tired of having the ingredients spill out when they fell over. * The flat bottom shells fit in well. Some shells are more snug than others, but they all fit.An added and unexpected bonus was the use of holding whole fried fish (after they cooled down and the oil wouldn't melt the plastic). After we fry the fish, if it lays on one side for too long on a plate with paper towels, it loses its crispness. The crunchy skin is one of the best parts.
