My gentle giant was slow to warm up to this chair. With patience, cat-nip, and threading hair ties through the back whole for him he finally has begun to use it. These pet things are always a gamble but it looks nice and should appeal to most cats.

I didn't know what to expect but this is pretty sturdy and well made. Much better looking than anything covered with carpet. I do wish the pillow was just slightly larger. Now when I look at it I can think about all the decisions in my life I've made that have led to the point of me writing Amazon reviews about cat furniture.

I bought this item in April 2014. I liked it from the start because it looked like something I'd want to lay in. My cat, on the other hand, wasn't as impressed. It sat in the corner of my bedroom unused for over 2 years. A few weeks ago I decided to try a new approach. I removed the top section and reattached it through the "other" hole in the bed to make it resemble a wine glass. Piled a soft blanket inside and then covered it with a second blanket, leaving an area uncovered so my cat could get in and out. This cat has slept in the bed every night since I made the change! It is a bit less sturdy in the configuration so I moved it right up to my bed to keep it from wobbling. I'm sure it's not an "approved" use, but my cat loves it now and that's what matters!

It only took a few minutes for our massive Maine Coon to figure out that this was her new throne. We've had an ongoing issue with cat toys and beds that just aren't large or strong enough for our girls - they're not overweight, but naturally large cats and extremely strong. I was concerned about the opening and the sleeping space inside because Maggie is quite large. (Picture a normal 2 x 3 kitchen rug for scale - she takes up the entire thing napping.)We find that the cushion inside is under-sized, but fixed the issue by folding her quilt and using it to line this bed. It's nice and low, so she can just step up and in. She's 9, so I wanted something senior cat friendly.It's a very nice-looking piece, and looks much nicer in our living room than her old bed. I'm a little concerned that the wicker will become a scratching post and not hold up, but time will tell.

Our cat is quite picky. We've gone through numerous cat beds/kitty caves, and our cat would refuse to use them and preferred either our nice leather couch or a plastic bag no matter how nice the cat bed was! When she had to go under anesthesia/got sick, she got trimmed down in a lion's cut and was miserably cold.We found this refined feline kitty ball bed and loved the style, but we were hesitant to spend the money on something that she might not even use. I researched for a long time and decided that a cat heating pad and this bed would give us the best shot and went for it! When the bed arrived, I was very pleased with the construction quality, this bed is worth what you pay. It was easy to assemble, and sturdy. I found a way to run the cat heating pad cord through the weave into the middle of the item and out the weave near the bottom (this wasn't exactly easy, the weave had to be heated up in the sun before I could push the cord through). The pillow that comes with the bed is ok, but for my user the heating pad worked better.I showed the bed to our cat, and had to put her in it a couple times, but once she figured out that the heating pad was warm, she will hardly leave it at this point! She literally only comes down out of it to eat, go to the bathroom, and maybe a couple hours to play and hang with us. Overall, we (and she) couldn't be happier with our purchase! She uses it as a scratching post (doesn't show any signs of wear from this either), and loves being up high so she can look out the window. Best cat accessory purchase ever!

The kitty ball bed was intuitively designed to appeal to a cat's desire for comfort and safety. When I first got it, I thought they'd tire of it, compared to their cat trees, as it's lower to the ground. But they absolutely love it, even more as time goes by. I wondered initially if this unusual bed would be worth the space in my small place, but now I'm so glad to have it. It's attractive enough that I've put it in my dining room. Now they choose the ball bed instead of the table. I put a small sheepskin from Ikea inside, which looks nice and makes it extra comfy. Highly recommend.

I bought this bed for my 5lb Pommeraian who acts more like a cat than a dog. She doesn't like doggie beds and flat out refuses to sleep on the floor. She loves this bed. It comes with a brown seat cushion but I covered it with her favorite baby blanket.

I bought a "used"/manufacturer damaged one at a discount and can't complain. The slight cosmetic damage is not visible and my cats love it. It did take a while to warm up to it but now it is being claimed in changing order by two of my furballs. The cushion detach it for easy cleaning and attaches to keep in place. Assembly is super easy with 2 pieces. The material is good quality and easy to vacuum off. It looks like furniture and I like it. Easily integrates with your living room style without sticking out like sore thumb. It is hip height and light.

This cat bed will be perfect !After reading the reviews ( especially from maine coon customers) , I was keeping a close eye on this product. I'm currently on a list for a 2 maine coons and seen this product go from 10 to 1 left. ... I had to have it, so purchased instantly... i'm sure my kittens will love this, looks so comfortable and a decent size . Hopefully this product will come back into stock, so i can purchase another one for when they get bigger.

So far neither cat had shown any interest. It’s very wobbly. It’s short, wobbly quite unrefined. The cushion supplied was neither here nor there. Half moon shaped noisy unfriendly material. I might put it outside on the patio in summer.Edit: I have turned it into an egg cup position, add a nice wide cushion and put a throw over it, finally it’s being used.

My cat didn't like this at first, it took some getting use to, now I can't get him out off it. Its really steady worth the money. The only down side is its heavy but other than that its perfect for my fur baby

Je viens de recevoir ce magnifique lit pour mon chat, lequel est vraiment très beau et s’agence parfaitement dans mon salon. Il est solide, et ça prend 2 minutes à assembler. Il y a deux façons de l’installer, soit comme je l’ai fait sur mes photos, où la boule peut aussi être mis complètement vers le haut. Comme d’autres commentaires, le coussin fournit avec le lit est vraiment trop petit. J’ai donc mis un gros tapis de bain que je n’utilisais pas, et je l’ai mis à l’intérieur du lit de chat, et c’est très confortable pour mon chat. J’ai un gros Bengal de près de 20 livres, et il y a encore suffisamment de place à l’intérieur. Quelques minutes après que mon chat se soit installé à l’intérieur, il commençait déjà à y dormir. Sans hésiter je commanderais à nouveau ce lit de chat. Je suis du Québec et ça a pris seulement 3 jours à recevoir, donc un excellent service du vendeur. Merci.
