While this was sent as a gift we have the Franklin Collection! They are great books

Good story but not too appealing for the toddlers
I bought this book for my 4yearold son who started to acting bossy. We both loved the illustrations of the book. We wrote the book for a week now but he didn’t seem to feel connected to the story. He gets tired when the Franklin goes home for the second time and loses the point of the whole book. I’m gonna keep trying to read this book for him at bedtime.

Great Story and Beautiful Illustrations
The illustrations are beautiful, and it tells a great story to help children better understand the importance of being cooperative with your friends. My son was at the peak of his bossiness at age 4 when I bought this, and I think it helped him better understand this lesson. Very inexpensive and worth the price. Hoping to buy the whole Franklin series.

A great book for little bossy 4-yr olds
I've been trying to figure out how to teach my son that being bossy isn't a great way to make friends and keep them. I know that I can only preach so much and that over time he'll learn the hard way. Luckily, I found this book! It was great. It showed how Franklin was always bossing his friends around and only wanted to play "his way." Well, that didn't get him very far with his friends. Now when my son is bossing me around I'll remind him about Franklin. It makes him stop and think for a moment. What a great learning tool. This was great. I'm now going to get more Franklin books. Thanks!

Helpful, but needs for fun to the story
Good message but very wordy and less “fun” so not as entertaining for kids.

franklin - consistent interesting reading ("to" not "by") by 4 year old
Just the right amount of everything for my 4 year olds reading collection. Familiar characters and "unpredicatable" plots. Clever and cute story lines that my very socially and intellectually (spell?) bright kid loves. Nice colorful pictures (yeah I wrote it, colorful). I think we own at least 8 of these and will get more.

Franklin series
My grandson loves the Franklin series. I add additional books when I can find them.
