First offered in 1990, genuine IronMind loading pins have been part of many a strong guy’s workout ever since and have been featured in more world, continental and national grip championships than could easily be counted. The IronMind Olympic loading pin is 15” long and 1.9” in diameter, sized for Olympic plates, and it’s paired with a carabiner that holds 6,600 lb., giving it the capacity to not even blink at anything you’re likely to load on it. Made in the USA by IronMind, Grip Central since 1988. Review: Excellent durability - This thing feels like it’s gonna last for a long time. It’s pretty well built. I thought the welding on. It was decent and was worried about that point of failure where the Caribbean attaches to, but I’ve loaded that thing and it’s been holding pretty well. Review: One of my favorite pieces of gym equipment - Couldn't say enough about this Oly loading pin. I bought it from desertcart vs. the IronMind site b/c of the free shipping. Because of a disc issue I no longer do barbell back squats and instead do belt squats. The only problem is that looping a chain through several plates is a major hassle. With the loading pin this all goes away. I can quickly add/remove plates, attach my squat belt to the caribiner and crank out squats until I'm begging for death. This Oly loading pin is easily one of my favorite pieces of equipment. Even though I lift at home it's easily portable enough to take with you to a commercial gym. And of course this is great for dips as well. ## Features - Olympic-sized loading pin is 15” long and 1.9” in diameter - Makes weight changes easy - Large, heavy-duty carabiner holds up to 6,600 lb. - Steel construction with powder coated finish - Takes Olympic plates - Made in the USA by IronMind, Grip Central since 1988 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005O2XPV0 | | Best Sellers Rank | #495,443 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #330 in Locking Climbing Carabiners | | Brand | IronMind | | Brand Name | IronMind | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 117 Reviews | | Included Components | Heavy-Duty Carabiner - holds up to 6,600 lb., IronMind 15 inch Olympic Loading Pin - 1.9 inch in diameter | | Item Dimensions L x W | 15"L x 1.9"W | | Item Type Name | Loading Pin | | Item Weight | 3.7 pounds | | Lock Type | Heavy-Duty Carabiner | | Manufacturer | IronMind | | Material | Alloy Steel | | Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Recommended Uses For Product | Weightlifting | | Shape | Cylinder | | UPC | 033586648946 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** IronMind - **Color:** Black - **Item Weight:** 3.7 pounds - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Weightlifting ## Images ![15" Olympic Loading Pin and Heavy-Duty Carabiner - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/719mRTjaJlL.jpg) ![15" Olympic Loading Pin and Heavy-Duty Carabiner - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51QjpIqOU0L.jpg) ![15" Olympic Loading Pin and Heavy-Duty Carabiner - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/510e9nHBeLL.jpg) ![15" Olympic Loading Pin and Heavy-Duty Carabiner - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61XM8-uZ6aL.jpg) ![15" Olympic Loading Pin and Heavy-Duty Carabiner - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61XXnQvKF1L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent durability *by E***E on September 6, 2025* This thing feels like it’s gonna last for a long time.
