Water and Lightning Sticks and Stones – Handmade Children's Wooden Nature Stacking Blocks (8 pc)

Really pleased with this toy! I love the interesting shape of the pieces - especially the "stones". They have such a natural aesthetic - but I love that they are actually extremely stackable, as they have parallel flat sides, allowing them to safely stack without wobbling. This allowed my daughter to create a tall stack from the stones.The set sparked her 2 year old imagination in many different ways - she constructed a "train" from the stones, and had it chug between the "sticks" as if they were giant trees. Built a house from all the pieces, combined them with her other wooden blocks to make zoo enclosures for her toy animals. Really, really nice set of natural wood blocks which have a wide-ranging appeal. I myself enjoy the aesthetic and colors, the half-dipped effect with the beautiful wood exposed on the other end - and especially the angular, erratic shapes of the pieces.

We received this set yesterday and as soon as my 3 year old opened it, he immediately started sorting them on the floor, surrounding the "trees" with his dinosaurs and setting his animal figurines on top of the rocks. He absolutely loved the pieces and asked if we could get him more. My eldest son, age 7, is also excited to play with this beautiful, colorful set. Both boys have enjoyed integrating this playful set into their playtime.As a parent I really like the fact that the Sticks and Stones play set is made from organic materials and the colors and shapes are lovely enough to display on a shelf. The set also comes with a cloth bag to store them in. You can tell from the toy’s packaging, to the feel and look of these whimsical toys that the designers of this company put a lot of thought into their product and I look forward to buying more toys from them in the future.

Just received our sticks and stones set by water and lightning and my son couldn't be any happier. From the cool packaging, to the vibrant colors on those stones, he wants to take them everywhere he goes. He acts like he is playing angry birds with them, takes them to the park, sticks them in the grass and even incorporates them with his other toys. We are very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend for children of all ages. PS: It keeps him occupied for a while and gives me a chance to do things around the house lol

Oh how I love these beautiful sticks and stones! They are such a unique addition to our toy room, and look so pretty on her shelf. I would buy them again and again. I did have it in my mind that they would somehow stack together or balance on each other. That isn’t the case, it’s much more of an open ended, imagination provoking toy. There is no clear “objective” or “use” for them, so they can be used however the child chooses. The colors and beauty of them always draw in my toddler.

looks like maybe someone used and returned this? not sure but every piece is all scratched up. so disappointing.I love the look for my toddlers playroom so i’ll just keep them.

My blocks arrived dingy looking as if someone had played with them and returned them or they got kicked around the factory floor. Other than being dirty they are a super creative and fun idea and my toddler boys immediately loved them. I would still buy them again but I took a star for arriving dirty.
