My Z270 Titanium/I7-7700K refused to recognize my 5 year old cases(both had 2TB WD Black drives), so I purchased 2 these for windows 10 compatibility. The only way these would work was with a Quick windows 10 format. After reformatting both I ran a backup using Macrium Reflect 7 Home. Plugged into a USB 3.1 slot, the average I/O performance was Read 3.7 Gb/s and Write was 9.17Mb/s. My SSD drive had about 500GB of data and took less than an hour to backup. A drastic improvement over the old HDD cases.

Worked perfect for what I needed it to do. Might try using it as a boot device.UPDATE: ceased working after one week. Kept getting disk read errors. Tried three different disks with same result. Can not honestly recommend this product, especially due to the nature of its use.

Returned it because drive was dead, but it does what it says it is supposed to do.

I purchased this to house a internal hard drive for Xbox One, and it worked perfectly. The case is made from solid material, and the drive fits snug. The installation process is simple and intuitive. Would highly recommend.
