Great weight distribution, very sturdy and comfortable to hold. I’ve been using cut throats for 6 years and was time to replace my old one. I had bought one half the price and the flimsiness of both tool and blade left me with razor bumps. This however was one of the most solid pieces I’ve come across. The only drawback was probably where the blade inserted. There was some sliding the blade through repeatedly before it finally started inserting properly, but once it did its perfect and no longer hast the issue

I recently purchased the yellow gravity straight razor, and it has completely transformed my shaving experience. The experience as a user has been really smooth and quick to learn. The razor is sleek and really easy to handle. The pin that joins the two halves together is nice with some stiffness which makes the blade secure so it doesn’t flop around while you’re using it. The only negative I have is that the dynasty version appears like a slightly darker green when in reality it is mint color. I was not a major fan of that because I was really expecting a darker green but the mint is a fine color and the quality of the razor is nice still. I reached out to customer support when I first received the razor and they explained that the dynasty color is actually mint and so that was that but they were responsive over text and email which I appreciated.

Not a good product. You can hardly open it up cuz the screws are so tight and ALL of the blades it came with were wrapped in falling apart paper and had brown stuff on them..similar to rust. Not sure what it was so I bought blades from a nearby beauty salon. Def not worth the money spent. I wanted a cute one but should've just stuck with the simple black one available at all beauty supply stores for 3$

I bought this with the sole intention of touching up the edges to my beard and mustache. I would personally not use it to entirely shave off my facial hair, but out of sheer curiosity I did use it once to shave my chest hair - and it worked exceptionally well. Once the razor starts to pull, I swap it out, and it does the job perfectly. For reference, I never use shaving cream. I either use hot water to soften my hair or just use the blade dry (after a quick alcohol disinfect). The durability has been good because I keep it in the case it came in. It's not stored in a container full of corrosive disinfectant, it's not stored loosely in some drawer, etc. I have taken care of it, and it takes care of me. Simple as that.

I’ve owned this razor handle for a little over a year and I love it! Ive tried other razor handles and they all have been too small for my hands and the the razors never “poked” out far enough making it easier to give yourself, or in my case, my clients a “hack job”. This has been the only razor that has always been reliable, sturdy and comfortable. Taking 2 stars off because after a while the slide kept falling out! As soon as I hold the razor upside down the slide does not have a strong enough hold causing the slide to fall out, which is DANGEROUS. Ive tried pinching the metal tighter thinking this would fix it and it has not. Whether you’rea barber, or purchasing this for personal use, BEWARE of the fact that it will lose its ability to hold your razor in place. I hope this is something that will be fixed in the future. I still give this blade holder a thumbs up for its sleek design and comfortability. I’d love to give them 5 stars but i cannot justify it.

Do not leave this one inside your barbicide jar.It won’t last a month if you do it.

I've had this razor for about a month. Learning to use it did not take long. The company's video was great instruction. I have a closer shave and less irritation than with my expensive electric shaver or any cartridge razor I've tried. I've taken it with me on overnights in my backpack and the finish seems very durable too.

High quality—good blades

This came with paint chips and I could tell that more paint was going to come off as soon as I started using it. I returned it immediately and wouldn't buy from the brand again.
