6 Pieces Brass Male Thread Hose Nozzle Quick Connect Adapter

UPDATE: Still great. Even more so. Bought 3 at local hardware store I thought would be similar. Not! Notice the flat sides on these? Ones at the store don't have those, so they are much harder to get screwed on tight. That small detail saves more time than you think it would. Still love these! Buying more right now.Finally! So far so good! These work great.Got sick of replacing these (and hunting for them!!) every year. Gardena's would last maybe 2 or 3 years, but they'd always break eventually.Had to get thicker washers as mentioned by another reviewer. The threads were not long enough for our spray nozzles and one of our sprinklers. When I screwed it in, so much of the connector would be in the threads that the quick connect couldn't catch/latch onto it. I used 2 thick washers and it works perfectly.It does take firm pressure to attach our Gardena quick connects, but it gives a solid click so there is no question about a good connection.

Previously but the quick connect t set, which has the same number of male/female connections. Bought this so the extra attachment options are always ready to do - spot sprinklers, tripod sprinklers, car wash foamer. Makes me more likely to use than if I had to always use the threaded connections versus the quick connects.

These are solid brass and should not be confused with the "gold colored" plated aluminum couplers you may find. These will work with Gardena brand plastic couplers and most of the similar looking ones you will find at the home center. However, if you buy the comparable brass female couplers you MAY find these male stems are a few thousandths of an inch too large to go together.

These mate with the plastic Gardena and Melnor quick connects that look similar. The only problem is that the threaded end can be too short and require two gaskets (washers) to make it stick out far enough to couple properly. It is nice that they are solid brass and available all the same end unlike so many others that only sell in sets that include many ends that don't ever get used because they are the wrong gender on one end.

For some reason every store seems to be sold out of these, or they only carry a cheap plastic version. I was so glad to find these on Amazon, and they are cheaper than what they sell for in stores. Also glad to be able to buy only the part I needed, as I have more than enough of the female component.

Used two washers on hose end, screwed in the quick connect adapter, turned on the water and no leaks. I also smeared a little silicone grease on the o ring for good measure though you probably don't need to. Fits the Gardena quick connect perfectly. Don't know about other brands. Very good value. Will buy again.

Bought these to mate with Gardena connectors. The fit and finish could not be better. To my pleasant surprise they even came with hose washers.

This product is a LOT better than the plastic quick-connectors and not that much more expensive. They seem well made and easy to attach and un-latch. The washers that come with it are excellent. There can leak, however, they can be hand tightened when that happens. These have been very helpful for multiple soaker hoses in the garden. They are shiny and easy to spot when I'm watering the garden.

You may need an extra washer or two, to have the quick connect portion stick out more by a few millimeters. For my usage, it just fit with one washer on the hand spray, there's no extra space at all.Conclusion: I would recommend these, knowing the caveats mentioned above. Great value for money.

Purchased these as additional ends for a number of garden and other tools. As previous post mentioned, you may need an additional washer to use with Gardena brand quick connects, but a great, durable and cost effective alternative that works really well. Bought a second set and no issues all around. Great products

Better than Gardena. The adapter is an exact copy and this replaces the original Gardena in Brass and will last forever.The original plastic and aluminum Adapters are made for Gardena hoses etc. and may need more washers to fit others. The plastic brakes and aluminium will seize after some time and this will solve my problem.

These brass fittings fit with my Gardena connectors, and do not leak at all.As noted in other reviews, the threads are a little bit short, so you may need to stack two washers to offset the thread enough such that there's enough clearance with the connector. You can see in the pictures the difference with the extra washer and not.
