Looks Great, Just Don't Sit On It
Most importantly, this is a really nice looking sofa. It has modern Italian design infused with sheer cool. It's something people will look at and remark over, as it's not your typical sofa. It looks much more expensive than it actually is.The leather is quality, and the leatherette is nearly indistinguishable from the leather. You'll find real leather on all the surfaces your body will be touching (seatback, seat, armrests). The leatherette is relegated to the back and sides. All surfaces are nice to the touch. The only disappointing thing was it arrived lacking that new-leather smell I was used to.The sofa comes in three pieces. When we got it, the pieces were so tightly wrapped we thought they forgot the chaise and the ottoman. But, luckily, everything was there. Note that the company that sells this sofa only delivers to the curb. You have to get it from there to where you want to bring it.The assembly is simple. A few screws and you're done. The couch stays sturdy afterwards, although after heavy use you may have to tighten the connections between the chaise and the longer section of the sofa. There is a "shelf" on the back that isn't entirely apparent in pictures. We like it, but it's definitely different and takes some getting used to visually. How's it feel? Therein lies the couches problem. It is not comfortable, at all. The foam does not break in well. The couch is still rigid two months later. There is no sinking or melting feeling when you sit on it. It's like sitting on a wooden bench. On top of that, neither of the two positions you can recline the seatbacks to are comfortable for sitting. The most upright position has you at an extremely uncomfortable 80 or so degree angle. The next lower position has you nearly laying down. The position is useless for anything but looking at the ceiling. As a bed, it works perfectly well. But get a mattress pad. It's the only way you'll fall asleep. Also watch the couch with jeans. Even expensive jeans that don't usually bleed tend to rub off on this couch. You will have to actively maintain it.We got this because we absolutely need a white leather sleeper sectional sofa and it was immediately available. If there were any other options out there, we would have seriously considered them. But as it was, there were none. This was a stylish compromise that lacks comfort. While not a regrettable purchase, it's not the best one if you're looking to lounge out.UPDATE: The couch didn't make it to the two year mark, unfortunately. After about 14 months the leatherette surfaces have work and cracked, even with constant care. The mechanism that allows the couch to adjust reclining heights now only reliably locks in on one position, which turns out to be the least comfortable one. Contacting the manufacturer is no help, as they say the couch is out of warranty and there is no way for them to get new parts to replace the reclining mechanism.About two weeks ago we had two guests sitting on the couch at the only reclining position that still worked. Unfrotunately the seat back collapsed on them and they took a backwards tumble. Needless to say that was the last day that we kept the couch. To address comfort improving: it didn't ever. The foam in the couch never broke in as it will often do on a hard mattress. Instead, it remained great to look at but hard to sit on while it lasted.

I adore this couch my only complaint is the carriers they chose to deliver the couch were terrible and they lost track of the couch for several hours ad delivered it late. Plus putting the legs on was a nightmare. Overall though I love love love it.
