These are the best pony tails for heavy/thicker hair! They do not slide ever…they stay in place and haven’t caused damage to my hair!

I can't find these anywhere in stores anymore, but these are the absolute best Hair Ties ever! I've used them for so many years, they last a super long time and hold my hair great!!

These are the only hair bands I will use on my daughter’s hair. It retains the elastic better than any other brand. It stays put better than any other brand.

Regular pony tail holders slip a little as I am an active person and these hold very well as I prefer a “tight hold.”

Let’s talk about the good first. The rubber in these is supposed to prevent them from slipping out of my hair, and much to my amazement, it works! I have a ton of hair that several Inches past my bra strap. My hair is not only long just also incredibly thick as a whole and if it is wet, very heavy! Normal hair ties weren’t doing the trick, but these do!What could use some improvement (Just in case someone from the company reads this):1. They are advertised for people with thick hair. If so, why are they essentially the same circumference as hair ties for people with regular hair? I like to wrap my hair ties around my ponytail 3 times to make it tight enough that I won’t have to redo repeatedly due to falling. I can easily wrap these around my hair 2 times with the tie being just too short to make it a third without a real stretching issue. Add another centimeter at least!!2. Due to their size being regular and having to force them to stretch for thick hair, I can use these once, maybe twice before they break. I have had them break the first time I try to use them as well. This is not abnormal for me in regards to all hair ties…which is why hair ties advertised to people with thick hair should be slightly larger, as I stated in my first point. If they were bigger, this would be less of an issue.If your hair is normal in thickness, I would still recommend these for sporting events when repositioning your falling pony tail would be problematic. If your hair is very thick, these are great. When I’m exercising, I out my hair up with one, and then I take a second one and go over the whole messy-ish bun I have made with a second, and it will actually stay. Bottom line is that this product is almost exactly what I would like it to be, but has room for improvement. The only other hair ties that I have ever found that stand a chance of keeping my ponytails up are the coil types, but even those break all the time.
