Strong Yard Waste Bags
These Hardex Puncture Resistant Heavy Duty Contractor garbage bags are a good value and perfect solution for yard waste that isn't just leaves and grass. The thick construction resists punctures well from thorny plants and branches. I prefer to use these when clearing out the abundant overgrowth that so often takes places in my Florida garden. They don't twist-tie well, but I usually just slightly under-fill them and knot the top. They still hold quite a bit of our heavier yard waste. They are also a decent solution for storing old clothes and other, bulkier items that don't fit easily in a plastic container.~ Kort

Durable and strong!
I am very impressed with the quality of these trash bags. They say 42 gallon bags but I had no idea just how big 42 gallons really is. You can see by the picture that they are huge! I am definitely not an expert on trash bags, but I sure know what I don't like! Those cheap flimsy things that break when you use them and you have trash everywhere! We live on a farm and during planting time and harvest we certainly general a lot of "outside" kind of trash. These bags are great for that! They are super thick and durable and very strong. You don't have to worry about leakage on these. We are keeping them in the barn to use. They come in a box of 20. They call them contractor bags. We can also use them at our church where we have a remodeling job going on. I am super satisfied with these and would recommend them to my family and friendsDisclosure! Twist-Tie Alert!!!
All things are only as strong as there weakest point. As the cliché goes, "it is only as strong as the weakest LINK!"These bags are tied with those stupid twist ties, which do not hold under any circumstance! The store-bought trash bags have those four tie-tabs on the top of each bag, so you can tie them and they will never come undone.Twist ties are completely overrated.
