Motion Sensor Night Light, USB Rechargeable LED Closet Light, Auto/On/Off, Safe Lights For Cupboard And Wardrobe, Automatic And Emergency Lighting (White)

I'll never buy another thing that requires batteries again. These charge up via USB and the stay charged for a pretty long time - like over 2 weeks. I have 2 of them on my stairway, one in the middle and one at the top, and one near my bathroom so that when I need to get up in the night I don't have to turn on any lights. The only thing I would do to make them better is to have an option for light intensity. They're EXTREMELY bright! There is a "sun" option so that it won't go on if there is enough light but mine always go on no matter what - which means where I have them is pretty dark! They're perfect.

Was really looking forward to this for my utility room, but the whole inside guts of it was missing. No light or battery compartment at all. Just the shell. So had to send it back. How does this even happen?

The pros:This is a very useful device that provides usable light for small areas (closets, pantries and such). We are using ours for a rarely used bathroom with a non-functioning light (while we schedule for an electrician to look into the issue).The product is very light in weight and seems like it could be easily broken if handled often, which thankfully is not the case for its intended use. The light weight also allows for the use of adhesive-backed Velcro rather than screws (both are included).The no-so-pros:The sensitivity of the motion sensor is a bit low. It definitely works and for the most part works well. For closets, this should be perfect. However with our specific use, the 15-second time out occasionally catches us off guard. Granted, jumping jacks aren't needed to reactivate for another 15 seconds, but if you're too still while on the can, you'll find yourself briefly in the dark. Again, a minor issue.It does take 4 AA batteries, but if you choose not to install them, it will default to the integral 2200 mAh Li-Ion battery, likely a standard 18650 battery.When recharge is needed, the entire unit must be removed from the wall and the battery plate (for the optional AA batteries) removed to access the micro USB port. This is not a major issue either as most would have to do this anyway. However, it would have been better designed if the recharge port was accessible from the exterior for those of us that would use a powerbank with sufficiently long cord. which I what I intended to do.Overall, this is a good night light that does exactly what it says it will. The soft white option I chose has proven to be perfect for my application. A larger area such as a small garage or a larger walk-in closed might be better suited for the brighter/harder white which I believe was also an option upon purchase.

This is a chic and affordable workaround if you don't have enough light in an area and are not ready to do electrical work to put lighting in.

Put this in my kids closet as there always bugging me to turn on the light for them. This is great because now I dont have to do that.

The only reason it does not get 5 stars, is the $20+ price I paid. If it’s Around $15, I definitely would give it 5 stars.

Super bright. So put in hallaway that needs lots of light. Easy to charge and the charge lasts a long time. Thank you
