Supertap Shoe Repair Stiletto Replacement Heels Tips 6 Pairs size 8,9,10 mm (Black)

Bought these for my wife's dress boots she loves. Saved the day. It looked like the stem could be a little big, but they were perfect. They tapped right in and fit tight. The heel part could have been slightly bigger, but once she put them on you couldn't tell.This is an incredible value on a well built product. Well worth the purchase.

There are not two identical pair in the pack. 12 individual stilettos.The peg is normally large on all of these so I was hammering away trying not to break the heel itself.otherwise, it is a good product at a great price.

These heel tips work great for my shoes that needed new ones. A cheap and easy fix, much better than having to take them to a shoe repair place. I wish they had them labeled in some way to easier separate the three sizes, but that is a very small complaint and not necessary. Easy to tap into the shoe but secure once they are in. Not sure how the black tips will hold up, as they seem to be harder plastic than the rubbery material I was expecting.

I go through heel tips on my shoes so fast, it's ridiculous. Having them fixed by a shoe cobbler was getting expensive so I decided to try it on my own and I was excited when I found these heel tips on Amazon because of the reasonable price. I figured I could fix my own shoes at a fraction of the price I pay someone else to do it. Unfortunately, even though the heel tips themselves were the right size for my shoes, the nail on the heel tip that goes inside the heel was too big and wouldn't fit. I tried on about 10 of my stiletto shoes and boots and they did not fit on any of them. These are going back.

The product worked for the shoes with that size post, but was too large of a post for a lot of the heels, difficult to see what size you need when looking on line. Would be better if they show picture of the actual size and let you know what the size was. The ones that I was able to use did work very well.

High quality heel tips; same brand as the ones used by my shoe repair shop. When replacing tips, the trick is to remove all of the old, cracking heel from the dowel and carefully remove the stem using a plain old pair of pliers. Do NOT use any cutters. Simply grab the remaining metal stem with the pliers and slowly spin the dowel, do not damage the remaining heel, and do NOT rock the pliers; it will damage the hole. Be patient, eventually the old stem will slowly release from the heel. When inserting the replacement tip, gently tap with hammer to guide it in straight, don't jam on it to hard or the dowel will bend and the tip will be useless. There is an art to replacing heel tips, but if you are patient, you can save yourself a lot of money; paying $10 to $15 per pair at the shoe repair shop is only necessary if you've broken off the stem and can't get at the stem. Certain brands will not lend themselves to home repair, but Nine West and Spanish Leather are two brands that are easier to replace than some others.

I am so impressed! Cannot believe how well it worked!!! Saved me quite a bit of $$ by avoiding the shoe repair shop that charges 10-15 bux for one pair of shoes! It was a bit hard to pull out the old heel but I had a guy friend do it using plyers & it worked well - inserting these after was super easy & I've been able to wear my shoes perfectly! I would recommend to def. pull out the old worn out heel park before it gets to the nail otherwise it becomes harder to pull out...

I repaired two pairs of shoes and the rest I cant fix and the heals don't fit. not being in the shoe reair business its hard to know what size heels you need. The pack did not have the size I really needed for the shoe I really needed fixed. the heels came in a clear pack with no size measurement/instructionns so I guess I will never know what sizes I used and what I will need to order. with all this being said these replacement pieces come in really handy.
