The only non-DEET one that works
Congaree National Park in Summer - and not a single mosquito bite. And I have never seen more mosquitoes (except in a swamp on an island in the Gulf near Cedar Key). The spray is kinda greasy, but stays well on the sweating skin and smells nice. No problem applying to face, as long as you cover eyes and lips. Won't irritate freshly-shaved face. Needs to be applied frequently, maybe every couple of hours.

Excellent product if you want organic
If you have to use regularly, you don't want chemicals including DEET. I've been using this product for years and while it is not 100% effective, it is pretty darn close. And you have the peace of mind that you aren't using potentially harmful chemicals on your skin. Great price too compared to other 'natural' products.

Have been using this product for several years
It never fails. Black flies in my area can spoil summer activities from late April until cool weather in fall. This is the most reliable solution I’ve found. Safe, organic ingredients, pleasant smell. Spray bottle makes application easy.

Works for me, even in the Everglades in the summer!
I use this stuff when I'm camping in the Everglades. It works on gnats, mosquitoes and the pesky horseflies. Best of all, no poisonous chemicals that sit on your skin and leech in. It could have a better odor, but it's not terrible, and considering how well it works, I'll put up with the fact that it lacks an attractive odor.
