Tarot of the Journey To The Orient (English and Spanish Edition)

The cards are artistically detailed, with soft, attractive colors; some of them are rather complex, and almost all are enigmatic to someone not familiar with Marco Polo's travels, and his book, which this deck supposedly "recalls". The accompanying little white book (as often with Scarabeo, in 5 languages) gives some information on the images in the major arcana, but has just a line or two for each card in the minor arcana, and these interpretations are what you would expect for any tarot deck: they do not refer to the very different imagery in this deck. I do not find the minor arcana to be intuitively obvious, and without some written information about them, they are very difficult to read.

I love the artistry and lots of the imagery of this deck. I used it for a reading and know that it works well. I'm glad I bought it, but I wouldn't be comfortable using it as my primary deck - there's just way too much Christian imagery in these cards for my taste. If Christian imagery isn't a problem for you, this deck may actually work better than the Waite deck.I prefer the Druidcraft Tarot - there's absolutely none of that Christian stuff in it.

I was attracted to this deck because of its reference to travels abroad and the silk road; however upon receiving it I became disappointed with it and I am not exactly sure why. I guess this deck will be attractive to those interested in Marco Polo and his journey. Otherwise, the images in the cards are very pretty, the card stock is fairly decent and the deck is longer than wider. I have not tried to become more familiar with this deck besides initial observations, maybe in the future.

I really love this tarot deck! It's not a traditional deck, and it seems you can interpret it in many different ways. The artwork really inspires my intuition. It might not be ideal for a beginner, though. This is the only deck I use; the other ones I had just didn't appeal to me anymore!

Cards: The cards are beautiful and well designed and suitable for hands.They are best quality and are like silky.Divinity: I made several spreads for searching answers to my specific questions and each time I received amazing answers exactly corresponding to my situation. I felt a strange divine magnetism betwen the cards and myself.I love these cards and this deck is now in between my favorite ones.

I thought it was exclusively oriental, but has a mix of eastern with western. It has a high quality of design.
