Shampoo and Body Wash

This turned out to be a great buy! It is a great body wash, and it also is a nice shampoo that cleans hair without over drying it. Like many, I recently was diagnosed with contact dermatitis. I have allergies to a few fragrances (etc limonene and linalool) and to phenyl salicylate. I was given a standard “safe list,” although I have found that not every listed shampoo/body wash on it is safe for me. This product was great! Absolutely no rash or irritation with use. It has a nice smell, which is a very light green apple-like smell. It is NOT perfumed at all, but it does smell very fresh and pleasant. Best of all is that it feels creamy, but it rinses off the skin and scalp smoothly. It is the only fragrance free shampoo that I have tried so far that does not strip or knot up your hair. You hair will be soft after use! It is definitely smooth enough for thick and ethnic/black hair, and it is the best so far out of all the ones I have tried from my safe list. I am anxious to now try the conditioner! Highly recommended!

I've ordered this shampoo a couple times in the past and I thought it was pretty good. Didn't smell "moldy" like some people have said, and made my hair pretty soft. However, back then (2 years ago) I paid about $20 for a bottle of this stuff and I thought that was steep. Now the price has risen ~50% since then to the point where it is definitely not worth it anymore. You definitely do not get a lot with this and it may last you a month or two at most. If you're fine with paying $30 every 2 months for something as basic as shampoo, be my guest. But there are so many other options out there to choose from.

Love it! -Cleans thoroughly & gently, doesn’t strip my hair or cause splits.Curly hair is very prone to drying, & mine is long, to boot - so splits are a constant threat. // I don’t use a blow-dryer EVER, as my hair dries very quickly after just a couple of squeezes with a T-shirt that i then use to “turban” my damp hair for 5-minutes or so, then let it hang out to finish drying within 15-minutes more.This shampoo is perfect for cleaning once or twice a week [I just rinse my hair between weekly washings], & i also use it as a body wash daily. // My skin is happy, my hair is happy, & I am very, very happy! :—D)

I like how this product cleans my hair, but it is very difficult for me to get the shampoo out of the bottle. The product is very thick and the bottle is difficult for me to squeeze. The photo of the shampoo shows a pump but mine didn't come with one. I am most likely going to return the shampoo because of the difficulty I am having with the bottle. It would be good if there was a pump that came with this product. I do not advise getting this if you have difficulties with your hands. I would like to contact the seller, but that isn't an Amazon option at this time.

I have allergies to chemicals so the doctor recommended a list of shampoos to use. I’ve tried others but always seem to come back to this one. My hair doesn’t feel like straw after using this one and the conditioner is a nice compliment. I don’t seem to have to use the conditioner on each wash either.You do have to add a little water before putting on your hair. It helps to spread the shampoo easier but overall, if you have allergies, this is the best I’ve tried so far10/2019 - I am so sad about the price increase. I’ll have to find another option.

1. I'd prefer it to actually smell like apple cider vinegar then whatever moldy rotten smell this has! (The conditioner does not smell moldy though)2. Very thick and slimy, cant squeeze out of bottle.3. Did not come with a pump as shown in the image.4. High price to be on the verge of gagging when using this stuff.

I can only use two shampoos due to allergies, True Cider is one of them and it’s fabulous. My very curly hair is soft and healthy. Lots of lather, no scent which is what I need. The other shampoo dried my hair out to the point it was breaking. Give it a try even if you don’t have allergies.

I am allergic to 6 or 7 chemicals. It took me a long time to find a shampoo that would clean my hair but not leave it feeling like straw. TrueCider Shampoo and Body Wash is great. It cleans but it doesn't strip my hair of all of its moisture.
