Hard to put down!
This author is able to explain in plain language, the information which relates to bullets' behavior, to make reading a page Turner.If this is your hobby, why buy a book that, is written for a PhD with highly technical and complex prose and concepts which are boring.Considering the author is a widely aknowledged ballistics expert, I can recommend this book to you without hesitation. It will teach you and make your hobby even more enjoyable.

It's okay, lots of information
Lots of good information, especially the first 10 chapters. After the 10th chapter I lost interest in it as it dealt with things of no interest to me.

Big Book Is A Good Book
This is a great reference book on ballistics. The author keeps the subject fun and interesting.

Anybody would benefit from the presented knowledge.
I haven’t read this yet. I flipped through it just to get an idea of the chapters and presentation of information. I was impressed with what I saw.

Nice photos, but....
TEXT IS GOOD; TOO MANY OVERLY LARGE PHOTOS. COULD USE MORE TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND FAR FEWER TALES OF AUTHORS. HUNTING TRIPS TO AFRICA , PRONE TO BRAG HERE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BETTER YOUR HAND LOADS.......WELL..I WILL KEEP LOOKING.

Great book written by a very knowledgeable author
Great book written by a very knowledgeable author!! I've been hunting and shooting sense I was five years old [that was 61 years ago] and also being a reloader for the past 15 years, found this book hard to put down and a wealth of information!!! Great job!!!!

Well worth the price. Easy to read and Philip made it easy to understand.

Author is obsessed with killing animals
The author of this book is obsessed with killing animals, not a page goes by without a reference to his dreadful acts. Even shamelessly posing next to dead animals.This takes you out of an interesting technical read and plunges you into sights of blood, pain and agony.It seems surreal that this kind of thing can be printed in 2020+.
