Great gift for me, I roasted my lamb on it and two cornish hens, I just love it, love it.

I read reviews before purchasing - they were pretty good. However, I have used this several times now and each time I have been very disappointed in the results. So sorry I purchased it.

It operates well, easy to operate, & clean. A little hard getting food out. For me it didn't cook the food evenly. The top was over done while the bottom was under done. That disappointed me, for example the top of the chicken would be golden brown & perfect but the bottom was not coked all the way through & unsafe to eat.

I bought this cooker in October 2011 and loved it. It was easy to use and clean and the food came out nicely done. I initially rated it at 5 stars until this week-end when it died, or should I say I killed it. Taking the food out with or without the drip pan can be tricky at times and is best done with nylon insulated type gloves or nylon oven mittens. Taking the chicken out this time caused the drip pan to tilt and the juices / water in the tray spilled everywhere. There is an open seam directly under the door and this allowed some of the liquid to flow down into the electronic controls. Need I say more? I still love this cooker, but I believe the front seam under the door where there is inevitably going to be some liquid spills should be sealed or the electronic controls protected from any spills from klutzes like me. Anyway, I am going to get another one and seal the seam myself with something.
