Great product, great consistency. Not gritty like other brands.
I have bought a few different types of charcoal toothpaste now and so far this is my favorite. The other blends I tried we heavy on the clay which made them very gritty and I became concerned about wearing my tooth enamel down over time. This is very easy on the teeth and gums and you don't feel like you are brushing your teeth with sand. Concerning the whitening, the product seems to do just as well as its competitors but with less grit.

Messy Black Stuff
It takes forever to wash the black powder out of your gum line! I have no idea if it whitens teeth, because one use and having to get a dental pick to remove the black traces around my gums for 45 min. & I didn’t care to use it again! What a mess!

Wow. This is amazing and not harsh at all. Never liked the long term damage of the store bought whiteners, but this natural one actually is helping my gums too.
