Don't hold a charge long or refuse to recharge
I bought a pack of these rechargeable batteries and took them on a hiking trip to use with my GPS. They seemed to charge up fine, but in my GPS, the charge lasted only three or four hours, as compared to ten or more with regular NiMH or Lithium batteries. I had a four pack, so that wasn't such a big deal, I thought. I'd charge them all up and then swap them out once each day. A potentially workable plan, but it didn't work because two of the batteries refused to charge at all. I can't recommend these at all, and I will be better off in future taking other rechargeable batteries and the wall charger.

Cool batteries! And smart
I love the idea of using a USB charge for batteries. I have been looking to get some rechargeable batteries for a while but it was overwhelming trying to decide which ones to invest in and then buying a kit with a charger. The chargers are always big and bulky which was a deterrent for me. These batteries are so easy to charge anywhere and take up very little space! So far they charged well. As with many batteries you have to wait and see but so far it's been all good. I also love the bright green fun design!

Smartoools Rechargeable AA/AAA batteries
Excellent! AA/AAA rechargeable NiMH batteries with built in micro-USB ports. I used them extensively on my last weekend trip in a semi-rural area. They take about 1-2hours to fully charge. They lasted approximately 8-12hours. When charging, there is a tiny red lamp by the (+) end. When it goes out, it's fully charged. Very convenient. NO charger required. Comes 4/package. NiMH only. If you want only LiIon then get the those made by Klaus. RECOMMEND: Buy a few packages (I did).

Smart idea but not the best quality
Micro USB rechargable AA and AAA batteries are a great idea. I'm sure we all hate constantly having to throw money at new batteries when the old ones are out of charge, so this product definitely has an existing problem that it is meant to solve. These are nice batteries. They take a while to charge completely (about four hours, I think), but they have an indicator light that goes from red to blue once they charge completely. The light is off at all other times. Other than that they look like regular batteries. If you're not seeing the charging port you'd be hard pressed to be able to tell they're not. However, I bought these a month ago, have only charged them once (they came drained) and three of them are still running on that charge. But just the other day as I was going to charge the fourth one I found out that it's dead and not charging anymore. It's only been a month!! So the idea is great but the product quality is not.

Know what you're getting
They look fine and the build quality is decent but they are not compatible with devices that require specific operating voltage. Normally AA output is in a range of 1.5-3.7v, I haven't taken a multimeter to it yet. But I suspect the nominal output of these nimh batteries is 0.8-0.9v. The only thing they would be good for is a flashlight or a gameboy. Since those items aren't going to run a voltage check before they will operate.

Not worth it.
Batteries worked well for the first few weeks. Now, they won't hold a charge properly and two of the battery's charging ports aren't working properly. I have to push the cable at an angel just so the battery can charge. At first i though it was the cable but it charged the other two batteries just fine. All in all, these aren't worth buying. Sticking to regular batteries.

These batteries are actually slightly longer/taller than standard AA batteries ...
These batteries are actually slightly longer/taller than standard AA batteries. They will not fit in most of the devices which I intended to use them (such as Logitech wireless mice). I would up ruining one just to see if it WOULD fit. After that, I found that one battery from each of the two packages I purchased was unable to hold a charge, and the life after a full charge from the rest left something to be desired. They are able to fit into an Xbox one controller. But I get on average two hours of playtime before I have to swap batteries.

Garbage, non working batteries
complete pure garbage, i charge the batteries, put it in the device and it gives me low battery. These do not charge at all. The light goes from red to blue in about 10 minutes and they don't even last a minute. Do not buy, I should of considered all the bad reviews about this product. Will not recommend or purchase this again.
