I needed a solution for coax cables run through my walls after my TV provider changed boxes to all HDMI. Couldn't believe how easy this was to hook up with an additional splitter to other TV's. Only thing I had to change was the aspect ratio on the TV on one, everything else worked perfectly. Great solution to work with tech changes.

Easy to connect and works right out of the box. Have not figured out how to use the remote which comes with it, but I have not needed to use is. The converter allows me to hook up my DVD recorder to the TV broadcast signal carried on the HDMI cable and record a program. At a cost of $50 Canadian dollars it is a bit expensive but it does the job and that is what counts.

tried a number of different ways in past to go from hdmi to coaxial without much success. decided to purchase this and try again. worked perfect right away!! awesome to have something actually work like states.

I got a new cable box and it didn't have a coax out, only HDMI. I need coax for my local tv network in the other parts of my house. This thing did the trick. I had to experiment with some of the settings but I did get a watchable picture on my Vizio and Samsung non-smart tv's. Pleased with the equipment and price.
