Right now the keyboard arm is somewhat like a seat belt over my lap. The mouse stand/pad/tray was a bit of a challenge to integrate with this chair ("VUYUYU Massage Video Gaming Recliner Chair"). The primary reason for that is the design of the arm rest does not leave much for you to secure around the arm rest with. The only option I saw was to drill into the armrest. Additionally, due to armrest design and not having the exact length of screw required, I had to saw off the end of 2 of the screws to get it secure correctly. Time will tell if this thing holds up. Since this is only day 1 for me I will have to follow up to provide updates on how the product handles normal use. Worst is the plastic bushing they use for the attaching support to the chair, after a year or so, mine finally broke apart to ever use again, so this is now garbage dump fodder. If I were more ambitious I'd take some measurements and have a custom metal insert machined that I can use vs. the janky chinese plastic one they include to attach to the chair. **Q: Does the laptop platform tilt? Degrees?** A: It does pivot on a ball, I would say as much as 45-60 degrees. I don't use a lot of tilt personally. The problem I had is the ball that the keyboard tray clamps on was very poorly cast as a round ball, and was highly jagged and unfinished from casting. It wouldn't even move when I got it. I took it apart, saw the appalling cast job, and used some 40 grit sandpaper to knock down the cast metal edge to make the ball actually round, and then it worked great for positioning. I was having horrible back and neck pain from straining due to leaning too far forward and also had wrist and arm pain from reaching for my mouse. There are a few things to be aware of though. I have a chair where the arms move up and down. If I didn't have this, I think I would find this to be really irritating to use because it would be hard to get in and out of the chair. You can obviously loosen the keyboard tray and move it anywhere and in any direction, but I would hate to have to loosen and tighten every time I had to get up. When you push back in a rolling chair, it often spins everything around, so it's hard to exit from the front rather than the side of the chair. Also, if you have a wired keyboard it's hard to back out without yanking the keyboard off. Another "hazard" to be aware of is the mouse. If you push a rolling chair back and the keyboard swivels on it's own, it has a tendency to push the mouse off of the armrest. I actually broke TWO mice the first week I had this until I got used to moving my mouse to my desk before standing up or before moving the chair in any way. The keyboard tray feels flimsy I don't really put all my weight on it, but it seems like it will hold up just while typing. I wish I could lean on it occasionally though but it's probably good I can't since it's better for posture to remain upright rather than leaned over. Overall, I recommend this to anyone who is needing the same type of set up as I do. It's the only thing like it on the market that I've seen, aside from the crazy chairs that cost $2k and up, so it's a great alternative for now.
