These pads are great! I bought some bar stools to go in my kitchen on the hardwood floor. I initially purchased some pads at Lowes--not sure of the brand, but they were tan and looked very similar to these. HUGE MISTAKE. Every time someone pushed back their chair from the island to stand up those pads slipped, leaving a sticky residue on the floor, exposing the hard feet that could scratch the floor, and putting me in a situation where I constantly had to keep an eye on the silly things! These pads are perfection. The adhesive is strong--they will not budge! Be sure you get them on right the first time, because I'm not sure that it's possible to get them off! I've had them on for 2 weeks now with not a single problem, couldn't be happier!

We just had our hardwood floors refinished. The floor guy said to use felt and not the Teflon bottoms we used to use. I ordered these based on what I read on Amazon.com.These pads are much better quality than what you can buy at Home Depot -- they are very thick and very dense, and the glue is very sticky.Make sure to let the glue set for at least a few hours before you start pushing your furniture around.Also, it's best to cut them with an Exacto knife, not a utility knife, especially when cutting circles or odd shapes. You can pick up an Exacto knife and blades at an art supply store (Home Depot doesn't carry true Exacto knives).We've used these on our wrought iron island stools which are extremely heavy. They now glide along the floor so easily.We have just finished up our pack of 8 and are now buying the mongo 32 sheet pack.

I bought these pads along with another type to use under my furniture legs because my furniture was scratching my laminate floors. These protector pads are wonderful. The other brand that I bought peeled off within a few hours, but these are secure and allow my ottoman and chairs to slide on my floor without scratching. They are very thick, but I was able to successfully cut them into smaller pieces with scissors.

We have several great looking bar stools with metal legs that come down to a thin plastic end that is approximately 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch across. They just don't retain felt pads, which puts our newly refinished hardwood floors at risk. The standard light beige pads sold at Home Depot and Lowes peel off in about 10 days. We purchased these from Amazon after reading reviews that suggested they work a lot better. In fact they do. They are even somewhat hard to peel off the backing paper once I cut them to fit the stools.But they fall off as well. We are getting about 6 weeks before the first one peeled off, and the rest are solid for now, but I can see where this will eventually end. Overall though, they are the best we have found, and are a marked improvement over the local standard pads. I don't know what I am going to do long term, but for now, this works.

Who says that floor pads must only come in beige?! This revolutionary product helps protect my floors and shelves while blending in better than their beige counterparts that are sold at the big box stores. They are quite soft, but slim and firm enough to support my stuff without making it appear to levitate.

When you need a special size that stores don't carry. I was glad to find one size in one pack versus a pack with all kinds of sizes I can't use.

I bought these pads based on the reviews. I'm glad the reviews were right. These pads are decently thick, and the fact that they are large enough where I can cut to form worked perfectly, as not every piece of my furniture has the same size or shaped "feet." I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for some protectors. Plus, they make moving my furniture nice and smooth on my hardwood floor (though I wouldn't try to do it constantly, as I'm sure they'd eventually begin to peel off).
