It looks nice and easy to install. The only reason for 3 star is because One of the three screws under the base, supposed to be soldered, popped somewhere in the backyard while I was tightening it, another screw was barely attached, just in case, I had to use some tape over the joint between the base and the lamp post. I will probably take them out and just drill directly into the lamp post and use other screws instead (when I have time later of course).A bit lack of quality control, otherwise a cool looking lamp perfect for the garden.

Absolutely gorgeous. Looks even better in person. Finely crafted affordable outdoor light fixture. Came in perfect shape!Update...be careful tightening screws to pole as the threaded rivets ends up popping out. I had t ok forego the screws and use my own. This required drilling into pole, but I feel this is much more secure.

Beautiful lamp and great customer service! The lantern is sturdy and good quality. It looks great and seems like it will last a long time. 2 glass panels were broken on arrival, and the company replaced them at no cost.

This French Garden Outdoor post light was described on other web sites as thin and difficult to put together. I had my doubts about the lamp but was thrilled with the style. Taking a leap of faith I ordered the post lamp and in a few days it arrived. The packaging was first rate. Lots of foam and wrapping guaranteeing that the parts would arrive in one piece. The lamp was easy to assemble. The glass panels were snapped into place the top installed and we were ready to put this lamp into place out side. The metal construction was surprisingly strong, especially since I had read some negative reviews else ware. We are so pleased with the lamp that we are ordering the matching house lights.

This is the most beautiful lamp in my front yard. I added a disk-to-dawn switch so it comes on automagically. I bought the bronze pole to go with it at Lowes and it matched up perfectly. The glass fits tightly and you may need to try out the different panes in each slot to see where they fit best. Everything arrived nicely packed and nothing was broken. I have received dozens of compliments on it since we put it in.

Can't say enough good things about these lights. They look fantastic in my yard, provide an extra bright light and are completely effective at keeping birds from nesting on the light poles. First rate.

My lamp post really does look like a French Garden country cottage. Very easy to assemble and it was the look I wanted. Not your average box store cookie cutter product!
