I purchased these some time ago on one of Amazon's deals of the day.I finally had a chance to use them a few days ago.Long screws holding up shelf brackets whose heads were stripped.Pick an appropriate size, put it in my drill, using reverse, cut a well in the screw with one end of the supplied bit.Turn it around, put in the "screw" end, still in reverse, S-L-O-W-L-Y work the bit into the screw, it attaches, the the whole assembly unscrews from the wall !Easy as pie.Slightly difficult to disengage the extractor but not all that hard to figure it out. There were four "stuck" screws. This kit made short work of that process. It's not a tool I will use very often but when I do, I know it will work !Well worth the investment.

I purchased this set months ago and just finally had the need to use it. It failed terribly at the moment of truth the threading on the extractor stripped right off without budging the broken off bolt. Buy a set thatpenetrates deeper into the work so you can get a good grip.

Doesn't really work... if you're in a bind, maybe try the old rubber band first then try for this.

These arrived just in time for me to remove some towel rack screws that were stripped. Thankfully with these I was able to remove them without damaging my walls. They were very easy to use.I think these will be very helpful to have in my tool kit.

After reading a ton of reviews I took a chance on these. Making sure I read and followed the instructions to the T. Yep you were all right, these are terrible, I was able to extract exactly 1 screw out of the 20 or so I needed to. Tips broke off so fast it was ridiculous. Please be smarter than me and avoid these at all costs.

Don't waste your money. I tried it as instructed on my deck screws. I ended up using a rachet, and putting a lot of pressure to loosen the screw. When I got it out far enough I clamped vice grip on the top of the screw, and unscrewed manually.

This kit is great and works amazing (you still need patience), I was able to remove a strip screw from my coffee machine (Breville BES860XL) to be able to replace the Steam Ring, but most importantly it allow me to remove my Audi Q7 lower taillight when Audi Burlington Canada wanted to charge me 500$ to remove the bumper since the screw was stripped... unbelievable

Worked great. On time. I removed over 30 2-1/2" brass screws in hard maple. I thought it would be impossible.

Worked great to extract the philips metal flathead screw I had stripped by inadvertently using the wrong screwdriver. Used the #1 bit to drill out the head but found the #1 extractor wouldn't take out the screw. Tried the #2 extractor and it did the trick. What a relief to see that busted screw coming whirling out. This was one of two screws holding down the lid of the front brake master cylinder on my motorcycle. I needed to get the lid off because the brake fluid was low and needed to be topped up. If I hadn't been able to get that screw out, I could have had to replace the master cylinder which is not only expensive, but a huge pain as anybody who's ever had to refill a drained brake line will tell you. I've only given it 4 stars because I've only used it once. A couple of bonus items: good clear instructions, a nice little plastic box and fast shipping.

DO NOT buy these screw extractors. All that they do is make a perfectly round circle. Save your money and buy a pair of vampliers/ninjasaurus pliers. Check out my review of my vampliers. I followed the instructions to a T and they did nothing. Didn't even budge.
