Great piece of kit to clear a locked drain. Wasn’t sure what to expect at first but it worked brilliantly. You need to unroll the coil fully first as it will make it easier to use. Would definitely recommend one of these. Far cheaper than calling out Dynorod

Bought this to aid unblocking down pipe drain underground comes with various adaptors for pressure washers took a gamble that it would fit a Parkside which it did, done what it was supposed to do.

I've had the B&D for a while now for general cleaning, then it struck me - I could try this for cleaning out a nuisance kitchen sink drain if I can get a small enough hose and head to go through the pipe.The Lavor adapter is the same as the later B&D adapters and fits perfectly. The nozzles are larger that I was expecting, however, the jet nozzle and end fitting are still small enough to go through a 40/45mm kitchen pipe with a couple of 90 degree bends in. The tube appears robust and does not kink when used, even with a fair bit of pushing. After a few hours(!) I managed to get the pipework unblocked - about 6m.The B&D is not a powerful jet washer, so if you had a more powerful one then no doubt this would be more effective.I can see this being useful for years to come and am happy to reccomend.

This hose does not pull it’s self into the pipe however with manoeuvring will go in and does not kink when going round u bends in 6” sewer drain. Unfortunately blockage was too severe for the hose good value for money

Ordered yesterday and arrived same day. If I’d known what I was doing and which direction to approach the problem from it would have been done and dusted in 10mins. It’s a bit fiddly due to the tight coils but if you unravel it fully before use and twist the tubing as you go it’s not too tricky. Saved me a call out fee from a drain company so I’m pretty pleased.

Simple to use (on B&Q branded jet hose, same fitting as former Karcher). Beware though: it will not go around the u-bend, so if that’s your intention, you’ll be disappointed.I’m embarrassed to admit that I initially attached it the wrong way around (it works with either end attached to the gun), and that made it impossible to even try the u-bend. Upon realising my mistake I tried again (it’s about 4cm shorter in metal the ‘right way around’, but alas still no joy.That said, it’s amazing on straight lines up drains, down pipes and yes…the soil pipe. My culprit turned out to be a dozen wet wipes I’d stupidly thought were flushable. I won’t do that again!Anyway - great piece of kit to keep in the shed.
