Peak DesignMobile Wallet Slim

Sleek and useful
I got tired of carrying along the bulk of a wallet with an attached Apple Tag. I rarely use more than my license and two or three of my credit cards. This wallet works perfectly for that. The magnet is strong and I have never had it become detached from my phone. After about a year and a half the elastic on the sides of the card holder got a little dirty and I replaced. I didn't need to but I did. Very happy with the product.

Another amazing PD product
Absolutely love this wallet. It looks like a mini version of my Peak Design Everyday backpack with similar intelligent design elements.First, the materials feel great and the sliding card release is super simple to use compared to the Apple branded wallet.Second, the card capacity is more that the Apple branded wallet. This allows me to carry three cards (ID + 2 credit cards) and still put in a few cash bills for those rare instances where I shop at a cash only event or need to tip someone.Lastly, I have seen a complaint about magnet strength being low. I have tested this against the Apple branded wallet in three scenarios (naked phone, carbon fiber case and plastic case) It does seem slightly less stable on the naked phone but it performs great on my two cases. Important to remember that MagSafe is a two way attraction and the case you purchase will have an influence on it’s magnetic strength. I don’t see this as an issue for me at all.

Definitely worth purchasing! but one area of improvement needed...
I recently got this as a Christmas present from the wife... The initial reason for selecting this one was due to the capacity that it holds. I had another brand that could up to 4 which was my minimum requirement. Ideally, I wanted one that would hold at least 5 so I could hold id, personal and business cards. This made the difference! The ONLY reason this is not getting 5 stars is due to the MagSafe design. The magnet itself holds well with 5 robust cards BUT when you add 6-7 I feel that the weight causes it to bump off fairly easily. Not a big deal but something to note. Additionally, and this is the bigger factor, the magnet only holds to the ring portion of the MagSafe design and not the vertical line portion underneath. This added magnet helps keep the wallet from 'spinning' in place on the back of your phone versus keeping it perfectly aligned with the phone. It's not a make it or break it but again... worth noting. If you are use to having the vertical magnet you will notice the difference for a little while but eventually will get used to it. This would be a huge improvement but I would still buy again. Quality of product is there and the pull tab is a super nice added feature compared to the wallets that require you to push up on the cards.

Amazing
The best mobile wallet I have used. Slim, can easily hold 6-7 cards if needed, and the pull tab functionality to look through your cards is well designed. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it.

Some nice features, but not good enough for me.
I'm returning mine. The color described as charcoal is more of a bluish hue than black. The wallet also doesn't secure as well to my MagSafe phone case as my existing Apple-brand wallet -- the bottom of the wallet shifts back and forth too easily for my comfort. That said, I like the feature that makes it easy to pull the contents out of the wallet, including the magnetic flap that secures everything in place. I also like that it can hold much more than my current wallet -- the Apple brand MagSafe wallet holds 2 credit cards, my drivers license, and a single folded dollar bill, and requires a bit of effort to extract anything. This wallet by contrast holds twice as many items and would allow me to carry either more currency or a few more cards. But that's not enough of a reason for me to keep it.

Changed how i do things
Combined my wallet and phone, holds everything I need. Stretches over time to incorporate another card. Frayed a little over the last year, but I appreciate the consideration around how it's designed. simple, effective, keeps cards in, and magnet is just right.

It's very nice, but The magnet is the deal breaker. The thing holds your credit card!
Its made of a nice and durable type material, and holds more cards than all the other MagSafe wallets. But the magnet isn’t strong enough. I took a chance even though the reviews were mixed on the magnet. There’s just no way that the reviewers that said the magnet strength is good have tried other options. The strength on a pop socket MagSafe wallet has easily 2x the holding strength. I tested the peak design wallet with two different MagSafe compatible cases. An otterbox vue series, and an otterbox XT case. It held better on the XT case but not by much. You could give it a good sideways shake with the vue case and it would slip off. On the XT case, it didn’t shake off, but any light bump to the side of the wallet, it would fall off pretty easily. It’s was the same on both cases. The reason I wanted to try something different than the pop socket wallet was because I don’t really want the pop socket on the back, and to hold a few more cards. But it’s the only one I’ve tried that has a magnet strong enough for me to trust using. It takes a decent amount of force to pull it off much less be able to shake it off. It takes a really hard fall onto the ground or a hard surface before it can knock the wallet off. Hard enough to know you dropped it and even possibly crack your screen protector. To sum it up, the thing holds your ID and credit cards. That’s nothing to take a chance on because you like the style or utility of it. And at $50, they could have invested in stronger magnets. So no matter how nice the wallet is, or what features it has, if a MagSafe wallet doesn’t have a strong magnet, it’s pretty much useless.
