NDK New York Women's Chenille Robe Mid Calf Length 100% Cotton Shawl Collar

I'm 5'3" and this calf-length robe hits me at the top of my ankle--exactly what I was hoping for. I read the comments on this robe in the full-length version and one woman said it hung on the floor 12". I wanted a long robe and this is what I got. I love the color--a warm basil tone. Not drab in any way. It is comfy and feels great. I got the L/XL because I like cozy. It is warm but I do not find it to be heavy. I washed it once and the dryer filter was full, but it does not shed at all. I have been looking for a cotton robe for almost a year. Even the high-end brands I've looked at have polyester and most of the others are micro-fiber which I detest. This is 100% cotton which comes from Pakistan...a country known for its textile industry.

I love this robe! We are living in a temp trailer on our farm until our house gets built. For reasons that are complicated, we don't have forced air heat, so we have to use space heaters to keep warm. Getting out of a warm bed thanks to a heating blanket and sitting in a room that is full of drafts and a big sliding door next to the chair I sit in is the worst without something warm to snuggle in. My late mother had bought me one very similar to this, but it burned up in the house. I have looked everywhere for one of these cotton Chenille robes, without any luck. Thanks Amazon for such a diverse line of products.What people should know if they buy this robe is: Make sure you wash it alone the first cpl of times. Or use a few Shout Color Catchers in the washer. It will fade a bit (at least the Purple colored robe will). But to me, this was not enough to matter. it really is worth the money. it is like wearing a nice warm blanket. The quality has held up as far as the seams and fabric. No Shedding that I have noticed at all. I hope this review helps others considering buying.Polyester Fleece is nice, but not as warm and breathable as cotton.

I am 5'4", 130 lbs - - - very average in proportions.After reading other reviews and getting the general sense that this generally runs on the generous side of true to size, I ordered a S-M.Unfortunately, I will be sending this back.The overall size of this is fine, in that the shoulder span, sleeve length and surplus wrap is very comfortable.It's not that it runs too big or too small, but that it is proportioned strangely.The belt (in the attached loops), sits high on my rib cage. It would seem simple to just take the belt out of the loops and cinch it lower, but that isn't possible because the patch pockets are also placed too high. If I cinch the belt at my comfortable normal waistline, I would be tying it right over both pockets - - - bulky and making the pockets unusable. Even if I left the belt in the too-high-beltloops, the pockets are still placed too high for my liking.I like to stuff my hands into pockets that sit right about at my upper thighs. These pockets are placed right at stomach/hip bone height -- not comfortable to me at all - - puts too much of a bend in my elbows making me feel like doing a chicken dance.I am pleased with the feel of the fabric, and knowing how difficult it is to find a basic chenille wrap robe, I am now trying to decide if I should order this same mid-calf robe in a large, or order the full length style instead.

I love it as I had a chenille robe growing up... with the peacock 🦚 on back! This robe is the MID-length but I’m 5’0 and after WASHING IT IN COLD WATER, drying in the dryer, it is a perfect fit!!!!😩😩😩😩 I LOVE IT...except for the color. That is why it has low ratings. Advertising that it is purple, my favorite color, and getting it with a tag that states, “LAVENDER” and obviously is not purple, was a great disappointment. I decided to keep it because returns w AMAZON have been very difficult in the past. Also, because there is no color left from the shopping rush that I LOVE. It fits like a chenille robe: with sleeves bulky, but I roll ‘em up and stay warm.I washed air in cold water as stated and dried in dryer. The mid-length is perfect for us “less tall.” It is wonderful. I added fabric softener, so when it came out of the dryer, soft and cuddly.Best of luck finding your color and size after Christmas, but it’s worth the search!

This robe is a beautiful emerald green color. For me, at 5'3", the length is mid-calf which is fine, but the sleeves, which have an approximate 5 inch hem, cover my hands completely when not rolled back. When rolled back, you have a 4X thickness that is cumbersome. I decided that despite this sleeve problem, I would wash it. After drying, I removed a giant roll of lint from my dryer's filter. In the following weeks, I vacuumed more green lint from the floor. The same thing happened after the second wash and dry. Because of the too-long sleeves and linting, I would return it, but I'm past the timeframe.

The material is great, the color wonderful. I am a size 5/6 and it's skimmpy in that when you walk the bottom opens. However the sleeves are really long even when the cuff is rolled all the way up. I put my hands in the pocket first time on and the corner ripped away--easy to fix but still shouldn't be made this way--it is made well other than this issue but you want a robe to wrap around you and this doesn't do it is sufficiently--my 18 yr old shabby one fits much better , it's just a bit thread bare. I had ordered a long white one after I got this one and just cancelled it.. This S/M is really a petite--the holes for the belt are at the bustline. Other than the long arms, no way is this a M.

My wife had been wanting one of these for awhile since her last one wore out. We were skeptical at first of the quality at this price range but decided to try it anyway. She is very impressed. Unbelievable quality for this price. If your like us and unsure, don't be, these are high quality and exactly as advertised. If your looking for a gift for your wife or girlfriend they will absolutely love this and think you spent a fortune!

I love this robe. I was looking for something that had a bit more of vintage look and this certainly delivers. Just be careful when washing - I was stupid and washed it with the rest of my white bathroom towels and it dyed them completely green.

I really liked this robe, but it was a little small. I should have one size larger, but you don’t have it. I gave this robe to my daughter, so at least it can be used and I didn’t have to return it.

Love the design and colour but found it shop worn...a small hole in it. Very dissappointed.

Arrived on time. Everything okay except colour was billed as teal. It was a deep green .. Nice colour but not teal.
