CCNA Routing and Switching 200-125 Network Simulator Dvdr Edition

The only reason I gave it one star is because the product did not come with the access code so I can not use it. Once I get the access code I will update the product review after using it for a short whileUPDATE: TOOK LIKE 4 DAYS to get code a lot of back-n-forth...tried software it really easy to pickup n follow along my new review is 4.8 stars if I could do it.

Received the DVD within 2 days and the access code was provided on the back of the DVD case.

Worked well, no problems

The simulator did not come with the access code. There are no instructions included that tell you where the access code is supposed to be located.I searched and found a couple forums that said the code is supposed to be on the back of the CD case, but it was not on mine.I emailed Pearson support who replied the next day and told me it was on the back of the CD case. I sent them a copy of the email containing my purchase invoice. They didn't like the format, so they asked for another version. I sent the PDF version.This is very frustrating. Don't purchase the CD version, buy the downloadable version instead. I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered the CD version, but don't make the same mistake.Update: Pearson support responded very quickly after they received a proof of purchase. The access code worked and I'm using the simulator. I'll update this review after I get some experience with it.

Excellent simulator with realistic hands-on excercises. Completely removes the need for a physical lab or setting up your own networks in Packet Tracer/GNS3.Last exams for this version of the CCNA are on 23rd February so if you've not already got it, you'll probably struggle to finish all the lab excercises before then but it's a great study tool.

El producto viene en un DVD y por tanto como no tenga una unidad externa no vas a poder instalarlo en un mac. Lo compré pensando que además del software llevaría un libro. Es que no sé por qué hoy día venden estas cosas cuando se podrían descargar en línea y no tienes que esperar 1 semana a que llegue.Seguramente el producto será bueno pero no lo puedo usar porque mi mac no tiene unidad de CD, vamos ni ninungún mac a menos que tenga 40 años.

I’ve used an older version of this before in school and it was the best thing to practice my reading after each section. Plus the simulated gives you a lot of scenarios to practice with to help you familiarize with the concepts
