Best steaks ever!
They sent me the wrong griddle initially but I called and they were very helpful and promptly got me the grill I had ordered. I purchased it primarily for searing steaks. We live in a condo high rise and only electric grills are allowed on the lanai. Electric grills tend to bake a steak and it is challenging to get a good sear. We have used the baking steel under the broiler in the oven and made amazing restaurant quality seared steaks than can be cooked rare or medium rare in the center. On occasion, we top the seared steaks with a little butter with roasted garlic. Clean up and maintenance is easy. It is surprisingly heavy which makes it a challenge to handle but it is the heft of the product that enables such great heat retention capacity.
