Made from corrosion-resistant, lightweight PVC, it ensures superior flow with a smooth interior finish and meets rigorous ASTM quality standards, making it the go-to solution for professional-grade plumbing systems. ## Description The NIBCO 4801 coupling pipe fitting is made of PVC for drain, waste, and vent systems (DWV) and has hub connections. This coupling fitting connects two pipes going in the same direction with the same diameter to extend a straight run. It has female hub openings for sliding over the ends of male pipes. The hub end connects to pipes with a smooth bore for enhanced flow. This fitting is made of PVC for use in non-pressure residential and commercial drain, waste, and vent (DWV) sanitary systems. PVC resists corrosion and chemicals, exhibits high strength, and weighs less than fittings made from metal. PVC can be connected to other materials such as steel, copper, or cast iron using transition fittings. This fitting provides superior flow to metal because of its smooth interior finish, which reduces friction and inhibits buildup of materials. This fitting meets American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) D2665 and D3311 specifications for quality assurance.Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries. When purchasing pipe fittings, consider the application, as this will affect material type, shape, size, and required durability. Fittings are available threaded or unthreaded, in many shapes, styles, sizes, and schedules (pipe wall thickness).NIBCO manufactures flow-control products for construction, industrial, fire protection, and irrigation applications. The company, founded in 1904, is headquartered in Elkhart, IN, and meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 standards for quality assurance. Arrived on time and works as it should ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Product as described. *by L***R on 20 October 2021* I was a little worried with some of the reviews saying they got the incorrect item, but I figured it was only 0.80$ or so, and I was too lazy to make a 30min round trip to Lowes for a single coupling (and what is that, 3-4$ in gas?). Bought a 1Β½in coupling, got a 1Β½in coupling. No difference in make or quality to a pvc coupling made by Charlotte Whatever Co. ## Frequently Bought Together - NIBCO U4801 11/2 HXH COUPLING PVC - NIBCO U4807 11/2 HXH 90 ELBOW PVC White, 1.5 Inch - NIBCO U4806 11/2 HXH 45 ELBOW PVC White, 1.5 Inch --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/421809394-nibco-4801-series-pvc-dwv-pipe-fitting-coupling-1-1](https://www.desertcart.be/products/421809394-nibco-4801-series-pvc-dwv-pipe-fitting-coupling-1-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
