The Kannastor Black Series Jar Grinder is the newest innovation to come from Kannastor's Multi Chamber Grinder series. This edition to the Kannastor Series sports a sleek matte black finish that offers the eye-catching aesthetics many other models in the past have not been able to provide. One of the most notable changes to this Kannastor Herb Grinder is the inclusion of the newly released 100 Monofilament Easy Change Screen. This screen delivers one of the finest quality sifts ever before seen in an herb grinder, truly allowing you to maximize the potential of your herbs and spices. If a finer sift is not what you're after, Kannastor has you covered with a 60 Mesh Stainless Steel Easy Change Screen as well. Just as the original Kannastor lineup, the Black Series Jar Grinder is constructed from a heavy duty food grade anodized aluminum that is highly resistant to scratches, scuffs and galling, leaving you with a durable device that will look like new for plenty of time to come. Kannastor's unique tooth pattern and specially engineered drop through design delivers a fine or "fluffy" consistency every time no matter what type of material you're grinding, whether it is dense, thin, moist or dry you will achieve the perfect grind. Kannastor's Multi Chamber Black Herb Grinder also features a strong and secure magnetic closure, an innovative screen guard that reduces the amount of stress placed on the easy change screen and a clear jar body that allows you to gauge how much material you have left inside in just a moments notice without any strong odors escaping.

Description states both 100 and 60 micron screens included yet I recieved no 100 micron screen.
Grinder is amazing. Excellent quality, machined perfectly. Leaving one star because I compared this to the almost identical gunmetal version and chose this based partly on the inclusion of the screen which is just shy of $10 separately. Without it, I just paid $15 extra dollars for a color option and a smaller logo...

This is my second Kannastor and first black model. The first one I had I gave away after taking a prolonged break from fresh herbs. For some reason the spinning mechanism on this one isn't nearly as smooth. The prongs on the inside seem to rub against each other more and the amount of residue being smashed in to the metal is a bummer. It doesn't seem to be grinding my herbs so much as pinching and squishing them. For the price, I'm unfortunately quite disappointed. The pollen catch has rounded edges which I feel is a big downgrade. It makes scooping out clumps of pollen much more difficult without spilling. This just doesn't seem to be as high quality I expected for the Kannastor name. Still a fan of the brand, just wouldn't recommend this product.

Works great. There really aren't any other options on the market that have "above and beyond" features like this one. It's worth the step up in price.

Lifelong grinder
Absolutely fantastic grinder, ignore any negative reviews.Stays cleaner than any other grinder I've used, including Space Case, and makes short work of any herb whether dry or sticky without powderising it excessively; perfect for rolling pure. The options of interchangeable screens (more mesh sizes available elsewhere) is the biggest cause for the price here, though the finer monofilament screen WILL clog up easily. I recommend using the steel mesh for daily use and refining your collection through the other screen only once you're content with your kief build up, if you're so inclined. The novelty of the clear jar compartment doesn't get old, though it does get dirty easily on the outside, which is easily cleanable, and also the inside, which you want to be careful about cleaning if you don't want to risk contaminating future ground herbs. The teeth and top compartment in general don't seem to collect as much residue as most other grinders do, probably because the teeth are slightly more curved on the edges than most, but this obviously depends on your use.The lettering on the outside of the grinder seems to be of good quality and doesn't rub off easily, but only time will tell. The scraper that comes with the grinder is useless, I prefer to use the same card I use for making a roach.Cleaning with a small brush from a razor set very regularly will help to keep this grinder in top shape, and maximise kief build up. The lower compartment is curved and makes it very easy to remove kief without creating an excess of residue on the metal. The one negative about this grinder is the size, spacing and quantity of holes in the top grinding compartment. They are very large compared to other grinders and will often not break apart the smaller denser chunks of herb unless used upside down. Using upside down can potentially impact negatively on kief collection unless regularly emptied. This is more of an issue with denser material and again, is easily fixed by turning upside down. This is a lifelong grinder that a connoisseur would enjoy. If you're looking for something simply practical without options like interchangeable screens and the clear jar compartment, a metal grinder from any headshop would suit you and your wallet better.
