This is a beautiful all-brass Turtle Whistle (Flute) with a precious handmade felt case, made in Nepal. Blow gently into the turtle's head while covering/uncovering the four holes on top and the two holes on the bottom. These whistles are NOT tuned, and are used more for rhythm than melody. 3-1/2 inches long x 2-3/4 inches wide x 1/2 inch high. They can be worn as a necklace if desired.

Great as a novelty gift, but that's it
Got it for my dad, he loves ocarinas and can play literally anything he picks up, Was hoping it wouldn't just be for looks and it would actually play, but it doesn't. He got a couple of squeaks out of it, but other than that it was just a novelty gift, which is unfortunate.

Big, bold and beautiful!
This is a work of art! This turtle is a cute and lovely design and is solid brass. It is big and bold, and handmade from Nepal. The whistle flute is an added fun bonus. The necklace cord is adjustable. The company is very good at follow-up to make sure you are satisfied with their product. This necklace comes in an attractive purse-pouch, makes a wonderful gift for that art lover or turtle lover in your life!

It's Great
We love this flute. Still trying to figure out how to play it. No instructions were given. It seems to be more like a whistle than a flute but we'll keep playing around with it and look up some videos, if we can find any.The pendant is HUGE for a pendant. I thought it was going to be much tinier. It has a great weight to it. Great details. It came in a little wool-type pouch.My musically gifted, turtle-obsessed daughter (age 9) loves it.
