Factory Spec, FS-04505, Stubby Shocks Sportster Harley Lowering Black 10.5 inch

This set of shocks was everything I expected it to be. I knew going in that it was going to require at least some modification in order to make it fit my bike since these are typically made for Harleys. I started the process and when I got to the point where I needed to install the new shocks I realized that the inserts that came with the shocks were not of the correct size. So I had to improvise. I ended up cutting some tubing that I had that had the correct outer diameter and just enough inner diameter difference to fit them onto my motorcycle. Albeit it's not a snug fit it fit adequately and I am satisfied with the results. I also understood that my rear suspension was going to stiffen up. I have the preload adjustments set to their lowest settings. I weigh 175 lbs. The ride is definitely stiff but not jarring.

Bought for 2014 Harley Iron 883. I am 4'11" and was found out it was already as low as Harley would go with it (11" shocks). Even with the lower seat I was tiptoed so my husband found these 10 1/2" shocks online. They arrived on time, he said they were easy to install and best of all they lowered my bike enlighten to ride. It's amazing what a difference that slight measurement can make and the ride is very comfortable.

Takes maybe an hour or two to install Looks great suspension is pretty hard like you feel a lot of the road. Still get is it pretty low.

Looks and works great. No instructions on how many or where to install the included spacers. Could have been five stars. Instructions are kind of an important thing regardless of howsimple or difficult te job is.

The product is outstanding!! went right on without even having to change the bushings even though extra bushings were included.

Perfect fit

Got these because I like my bike low and had been riding on 10" rigid struts but recently began riding with a club and the lack of rear suspension slowed me down over rougher terrain. So I wanted the lowered stance maintained and was hesitant about paying $200 for the Burly Slammers. I then saw these and the price was right. I chose free shipping and they still came in about 4 days after I ordered and that was through Christmas! Put em on and LOVE EM! Rides much much better and I can't see how more expensive shocks could do any better. Came with the bushings needed to mount and an adjuster wrench. Fantastic service and product
