I bought this believing it was a Petrainer receiver. (Be sure you read everything carefully before you buy). After charging it up for the recommended 4 hours, I tested it out. The sound was warning sound was so low I had to go into a small room with the door shut. Next the vibration not any better. I returned it the next day and ordered a Petrainer system

I bought this replacement collar back in January and it's synced up to my remote perfectly the first time then I didn't use the receiver for a few months and now it won't sync back up to the remote. the light on the receiver only stays on red even though it has charged up for over 24 hours.

I bought two receivers last year, and both stopped working within a few months. When I asked the seller to make good on his promised guarantee, he said he'd look into it. Since then, he has not responded to my inquiries.

This item is NOT compatible with Petrainer. Sadly I purchased 2 so that I would have an extra if needed in the future. Tried paring both of them NUMEROUS times. Also cheaply made. First one went straight to trash. Power button was hard to push and after multiple attempts turning it off and on the power button actually broke through and fell down into device. Second one is going to the trash also. Waste of time and money. Not even one star worthy.

we didn't use it much over winter and when we went to charge it the light stayed green the whole time but it would not work at all. Couldn't return it cause it was out of the window of return.

This unit works much better than the unit that came with the collar. I had to turn the transmitter up to 15 on the shock setting at least before my dog would feel it this one I only have on 4 & my dog responds much better.

I bought the first set 3 years ago and it wore out or would'nt charge again

As confirmed with Petainer they are not compatible (Spelled with no "r") they will not pair with a Petainer controller.They look the same on the outside but the internal workings are different.Do not buy for a replacement for Petainer Model IS-PET998DB or IS-PET998DBB.
