Q: What actually happens if you put the body of the cup in the dishwasher?

In response, I would like to explain that a painted body put into the dish-washer will suffer discoloration, e.g., peeling and the like. Apart from this, the body may lose its heat retention, especially when exposed to a temperature higher that 60 degrees C. I hope that this is a useful response.
