Rugged Ranch High End Hen Chicken Feeder and Waterer

My pullets have taken to these pretty well. We attached them differently than suggested making it easier for us to lift off the house to clean. Took a while to get the crumbles to go down. Don't suggest using chick feed in them because it gets matted up at the bottom. We've raised it up higher a couple of times, and my chickens (still pullets) seem to enjoy. Doesn't keep food off the ground, however, because they just drag the stuff out anyway. The water silo works very well. Wish the little cup was a slight bit bigger but it works. Right now the girls can get their drinks two at a time but as they grow I'm sure they will have to wait in line. I recommend. Look a lot nicer than the ones on the ground. Do keep food dry in the storms.

Cut your cage to mount these, drill holes and install mounting brackets in the feeder and the waterer. Stick your arm down a long tube and with the tip of your fingers install a very small plastic nut and washer without looking.For this price, you could have at least assembled the most difficult part on the product. In addition, look for an installation solution that doesnt involve consumer modification.Great idea, bad execution.

This is a terrific idea but you can not see if the food is dispensing from the bottom of the feeder. One of our chickens just died. We found a lump of food blocking the food from dispensing from the feeder. But by the time we noticed it, it was too late for one of our chicken. When it rains the water can splash up into the bottom of the feeder and clump the food. We are so sad. We will stop using this feeder after one of our chickens died.

I got these for my chickens. We have a flock of 8 and these work great. No problems at all with the feeder. The waterer tends to get a little gooky inside. I rinse it out every few days. Overall they are wonderful and stay clean... not all poopy.

Hoping my birds like them, because it will save me a ton of time
