Fantastic for a great nights sleep
This is an amazing cooler on hot sticky days and nights, used a lot since buying with perfect results. Very easy to use, looks nice and whilst a quite heavy to put away in the loft in winter it has been a life saver for a comfortable sleep. Wouldn't be without one now. You pay for what you get so whilst some may thick its expensive you really can't compare to the old fashion fans that just blow hot air around your room. this not only sucks out hot air but pumps lovely cool air down to 16 degrees. Noise level is ok, can be noisy of full speed but small price to pay.

Brace for the cold air ... and the noise
Pros: I bought this at the beginning of the summer. It was definitely a life saver. Coming back home on a day surpassing 30ºC, and be able to cool down in front of some cold air is an unmatched experience. The unit does not produce much water, so you don't need to empty it so often. Although the unit is heavy, it is really easy to move thanks to the 4 wheels. I have not used the remote control since it has not been necessary; the control panel on top of the unit is very easy to use.Cons: noise noise noise. An AC unit will always cause noise. Since portable units have their engine as part of the air unit, you have an engine right inside your house. Even though I knew the unit would be noisy, I was not prepared for how noisy it is (although, probably not noisier than other units). If you wear headphones most of the time, especially noise cancelling ones, you will be more than fine. However, trying to watch TV with the unit next to you is pretty much impossible - you will absolutely need the CC. The unit is also taller than I expected, but nothing too extreme.

Great product !
Excellent Cooling Power in a Compact DesignI’ve been using this portable air conditioner for a few weeks now, and it’s been a game-changer during hot days. It cools the room quickly and efficiently, and the noise level is surprisingly low for such a powerful unit. The controls are simple and intuitive, and I love that it’s easy to move from room to room

relief
Greetings and glad tidings everyone. I have never done this before, however the relief from this product compells me to write.I have been doing my own head in over getting one of these. Sweltering for years in 20 degrees and more in the uk. After too much looking and too many reviews and so much concern about the venting hose outlet, I have finally got one. It arrived wednesday evening. I am in the uk. Well all I can say is do it. Its miraculous. I have gaffa taped the hose to the unit as it keeps coming off and put it out my window with a blanket. Thanks to the reviewer who did that also . do it do it do it. Amazing. It cools my room in 5 minutes if fact the whole place. And I don't think its that noisy at all. I read somewhere that some described as having the hoover on. I thought oh no because my hoover is very noisy. Its not whisper quiet but quieter than I thought.

Smart and stylish
I purchased this air conditioner a few weeks ago and now that I have got used to the setting I am able to give it a review,The noise of it is average to most portable air conditioners, it’s powerful and the design and display is very stylish and modern, I like the sleep function which turns itself off once it reaches the the temperature set by the user and when the temperature rises it simply starts up again, it has all the features and functions you would want, I can sleep perfectly well with the machine on but I am a little hard of hearing and after a while you would get used to it, a bit like living next to a train line you get used to it, the machine is set up in my bedroom and it actually cools the whole of my bungalow down to a comfortable level, the only snags are the vent pipe is not very long and to combat this I positioned the unit securely on top of a old bedside table I have and the other snag is plastic vent that can be used only on some types of windows, if you have internal glazing then the plastic vent would be okay but if you have windows like mine (see picture) then it is of no use, but apart from that this is a fantastic and powerful machine just make sure you use the pipe to vent the hot air out through your window or other outlet. So this is a great and well designed air conditioner and I would recommend it if you’re considering buying one, I also bought the extended 4 year warranty with this unit and I kept the box and packaging in the shed should I need to return it should a fault occur.

Is nice and cool - but possibly not the best unit for my setup
The unit does work well as an Air Con unit. You can really feel the cold coming through it.The main issues I have had with this unit, some of which are probably on me for not doing a full research before buying are:- Noise - this is a very loud unit. I wouldnt be able to have it in my room if I was trying to sleep. Luckily, I use it in my office, where I tend to have headphones on, so it doesnt bother me too much.- How it connects to the window - My windows open outwards, where this unit is designed for sliding windows. This means, I have to have the windows to use it. Reading up on Air Con units, as you are changing air pressure in your room, the pressure is backfilled with Air outside of you room. If you have the windows open, then this would mean you are drawing warm air from outside back into your room. It does a good job at cooling a room down, but I suspect, it isnt very efficient at doing so in the way I have it configured.
