CNBINGO 1-Way Rocker Button Light Switch, Glass Panel Wall Switch

I bought these as I needed something similar in looks to the glass touch switches that I have in other rooms, however I needed 2 gang 2 way and 3 gang 2 way switches for a stair and landing area. I must say that I was surprised by the quality of these switches for the price, they are exception value for the quality. They work perfect and look & feel great when switching - better than some other switches that are twice the price.If I had to raise any negatives it would be that the phosphor dots do not glow in the dark as they should and also the screw connections on the rear are oversized for standard UK lighting wire and can sometimes come out, a minor niggle - you bend the end of the wire over in a small loop when fitting to combat this.

I purchased this switch to go along with the matching sockets, the instructions are a little confusing so followed the wiring setup from the switch that was removed. The only thing I had problem with was the switch popped out the frame when putting on the face plate, but with a quick removal (I like the way you don't need to remove the screws completely) I was able to click back into place and adjust the wires at the back to allow it to fit better, once that happens the face plate went on easily and pushed to click in place.Nice looking switch and worked two different sets of lights.

Firstly it looks great ! easy to install. However it does not light up. i thought it would with having the three light pools on each one . But overall YEAH !!

It does look good and although the marking on the terminals at the rear are misleading, a multimeter quickly showed which that the ones I needed did exist. Very misleading though,The issue is with the fitting. It will not in any way fit in place against a surface mount rear box, it must be a wall recess box and even then it doesn't sit well.The final issue is the click into place glass front plate. I put the top edge into place as per instructions and looked carefully what would happen with the bottom edge, and thought to myself if this clicks in place, it's never going to come off again with only that little notch to get any tool into. So before wiring this up and taking that final step, I tried it out in my hand with no wires in place.Yep, click it into position and you're only ever going to get the front off by breaking it. I could only get it off by using two tiny flat blade screwdrivers pushed in from the rear and levering hard, something you can't do when it's fixed in place.This is a ridiculous switch in so many ways and the only reason I did fit it is because my wife said she wanted it over anything else on offer. Otherwise it would have gone straight back for a refund. So be warned, and unless you're desperate for the look of it, look elsewhere.

Nice product, well made but a bit fiddly to fit. I fitted mine into 32mm surface boxes and I think it would be quite a challenge to get multiway switches into a 20mm box.My main problem was that the detailed design of boxes differs between manufacturers and mine had the screw thread starting about 4mm below the front face and so I had to fit a nut and 2 washers to provide a solid fixing flush with the top edge of the box.

Easy to install, they look fantastic sleek, look very expensive but they not great value for money. Want them everywhere now.
