This felt pad is exactly what is pictured, and it was THICKER than I expected. To me, its the perfect thickness, very well made. It also has the little black dots on the reverse side to help from sliding. I have brand new hardwood floors and I did not want to buy something that was "too sticky" on the side that will be resting on the floor - this pad is perfect! Also, I was impressed with the shipping. I ordered a 9X12 pad, and it came folded in a a large plastic bag in a large flat cardboard box - not overly folded and not too creased. THANK YOU!!!!!

I have newly refurbished old hardwood floors with a shiny surface. This is an excellent pad that I have bought and cut up to accommodate various sizes. I have even put two scraps together by duct taping them on top and that worked fine. Because my floors are new and rather slick, rugs still tend to slowly shift about with foot traffic, but they do not slip or slide about. I have to re-adjust them slightly but I have purchased several other types based on the height I needed, and this is comparable to the other thick pads with solid non-stick backs. These are great for a low profile rug pad.

This rug pad was just what I was looking for. Felt with just the right thickness, about 1/8" and gripper dots on the bottom. Cut the 9' x 12' pad to fit my 8' x 11' wool rug for a custom fit. The pad stays put and the rug on top stays in place too. As long as the gripper dots don't leave marks on the hardwood floor I'll give five stars to this pad.

Used under a hand woven wool rug that’s pliable and need a bit of padding to keep in good shape and prevent it from sliding around. Just the right amount of thickness. Rug still moves a bit when I vacuum but am happy with the purchase. Doesn’t leave sticky residue on rug so it’s worth the trade off of slight movement when cleaning. Would buy again

I read a lot of reviews before buying this pad. It is perfect for our needs. It is not thick and I did not want thick as I did not want to catch my foot on the edge of the rug and trip. My goal was to protect my hard wood floors. It is made well, very tightly made and it is very evenly squared. I needed 8x10 and this is 9x 12 but that was much easier to line the rug up on and just cut off the two sides. It cut very easy with regular scissors. It says 1/4 inch but it is not that thick which was what I wanted.

This is the best pad I have ever purchased. It is not thick at all; little less than 1/8". Love that one side is smooth felt, the other dots of non skid, so you can use with either side against the floor/rug, depending on your particular requirements. I would buy this again, and again.

Lightweight, thin, easy to cut, durable, useful, exactly the pad you need. The thin make of this pad means nobody has to trip over my rug as if it's up on a mattress. Everyone with rugs on hardwoods should buy this pad!! The price is roughly 2/3 the alternative. Total no-brainer. Highly recommended.

The pad is exactly what is stated in advertising. I can’t say for sure how well it will work since I just purchased this and haven’t had time to really see any plus or minuses. That being said if this works I will be purchasing more as the pad was fairly thick and it was put together very well. I’m very happy with my purchase. I’m waiting to see how it holds up to my 80lb Boxer!!
