Works, to my utter surprise.
Had a bad mosquito problem on my patios and my garage, I mean literally couldn’t be out there without getting bit 50 times it was horrible. So far this item works great, I haven’t seen a mosquito in weeks.

These traps work!
I've been using these traps for years and they are simply amazing. I live in the Mid-Atlantic region where the mosquitoes are off the charts. These traps are the only real, long-term solution I've found. There are, however, a few things you need to know in order for them to be effective.1) It's best to place these traps at the very beginning of the spring. In our area that is March or April. These traps work by luring the pregnant female mosquitoes into laying and killing their eggs inside the trap. That means these work best to deter a population from the beginning rather than knocking down a population once it gets going. The traps will help later in the summer but they will take a while and they won't be as effective.2) The traps must be rebated religiously. In our area that means every 6 weeks. The process is fairly easy but if you aren't faithfully rebating the traps will not be effective and the mosquitoes will quickly repopulate.3) The directions say to place the traps 25 feet apart. I saw a review here that said the person place three traps in an acre. That is nowhere near enough traps to be effective. In my small townhouse backyard I use three traps (approximately 25 x 45 foot area) and I am amply covered. This is likely not the trap for you if you have a very large area and are unwilling to purchase and service many traps.4) This trap is for the Asian Tiger mosquito which is black with tiny white stripes and it bites all day rather than just at dusk. If you don't have that type of mosquito the traps won't be effective. As I said, we have found these traps to be astoundingly effective. After sitting outside in our pest-free yard our neighbors have purchased them and pretty much everyone we have over is convinced. I don't work for this company and I have not received anything for this review but I am a very satisfied customer. I hope this is helpful.

Best mosquito control product out there.
Made a huge difference. The trap doesn't actually "trap" mosquitos, so you don't get the satisfaction of seeing the mosquitos you eliminate... and the results are not instantaneos... which may be why some reviewers gave this product negative reviews. That being said, I noticed a 70-90% reduction in mosquitos in my yard after about 2 weeks. JUST MAKE SURE TO PUT SOME GRASS CLIPPINGS IN THE TRAP. Mosquitos are attracted to water containing decomposing plant matter.

Works but not perfect?
I'm tore about the stars I wany to give. On the one hand I see less aedes mosquitos (*aka ankle biters) overall, maybe 80% less. That's good news! These lousy ankle biters are interesting creatures, I read they don't get further than 300 feet from their hatching place. They also feed 24/7. If you have a large yard you probably need one trap for every 1000sqf of outdoor space. I placed 2 on the ground and possibly needed 2 more. You'll need a stapler and I did contact the seller about simplifying the instructions.I'm not sure if it takes care of regular mosquitos as I set separate, different traps for those. I would not call these traps as the bugs don't die inside them but rather take the bait to die elsewhere. I found many no seek ums inside though.Bottom line: There still is no perfect solution to ankle biters. Luckily vinegar takes away the itch. I may try adding more traps to see the difference but 80% less is pretty good for starters!
