Superb Twist-Lock Hose Connections for Faucets
I put these female connectors on my three outside water faucets. You can purchase the Hoselink Garden Hose Connector Starter Kit, but you'll probably still need to buy one or two of these female connectors. I put Hoselink connectors on every hose sprayer I own.I was testing two pairs in my kitchen before actually going outside and connecting them to the outside faucets and water hoses. At first I thought it would be very difficult to completely twist lock the pairs in place. But to my surprise after I connected them to the outdoor faucet, they snapped right into place without much effort - even the first time. It was hot outside, so that may have made a difference. Now they disconnect and connect easily - but still takes a firm grip. However, it feels good to hear them snap in place. Gives a nice feeling of confidence they are going to stay locked in place. Maybe I've gotten used to it now because I don't even think about it anymore - second nature now. My petite 5' 2" wife handles them with ease, too.We worked outside for about five hours pressure washing our concrete driveway. We used three pairs of the connectors during that time and none leaked even one drop of water - very tight seal. Previously, I had purchased some brass quick connectors and I was very disappointed with the constant leaking. That is what motivated me to try these quick connectors. They are made of solid nylon - no metal parts, which is good in my book.Once you attach them to your faucets or sprayers, you just twist the pair together and you don't have to bother threading them onto a hose. It makes really quick work of it and I don't even hesitate to swap heads if needed. Before, I probably would just keep using one head rather than unscrewing it and screwing another one on. I do put an inline brass valve on my hoses so I don't have to go back to the main faucet to turn off the water. You can hot swap these, but you'll probably get wet if you do. I tried it just to see and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I tried to keep out of the spray stream. I think if I practiced it enough, I could minimize the spray better.Although it is purely optional, I did use the yellow locking tabs. I wondered what the purpose was because the connectors I got certainly weren't going to twist loose on their own in my lifetime. The yellow tabs work fine. I haven't had any difficulty with any of them. They click in and pull out with little effort. I did notice that most of the yellow tabs were loose and not inserted in the twist lock quick connectors, but at the time I didn't realize they were optional. There were a considerable number of spare O-rings included . It seems like the o-rings are extremely well embedded into their grooves on the mating connectors, so it is difficult to believe they would ever get damaged under normal use. It seems like they would last a lifetime. However, I do like having spare parts on hand.I tested three pairs of connections in-line at full pressure. I think I remember the house inspector saying my water pressure was quite high - about 60 psi. I left the water on with a brass stop valve at the end for at least two hours - not a drop of water leaked on any of them.I was impressed that the white locator tabs all ended up facing directly outward on the outdoor faucets on my house. I was expecting the white locator tabs to end up facing the house where I couldn't see them. Maybe I was just lucky. This seems like a rock solid design to me. I really like them. I bought several female connectors to balance the set.

This product really works great. I put the connectors on each end of the hose and on the car wash attachment and it was the first time ever there were no leaks. The service and follow up were also great.
