One did not work was DOA. I switched around the batteries from the one that was working and it still did not work. I should have returned it, but decided to open it up instead and look at the inside. I found spots in the wiring where hot solder had melted into the wire insulation creating a short, very sloppy soldering and very small gauge wiring.

I have been buying these solar lights from suppliers for 4- years.....in the beginning they were great and quality went down from there, I justbought 2 for checking this supplier and light is green.

One of the two of these lights stays on all the time. I am still experimenting with the On-Off switch to see if I can get it to behave. I will try to update this review with further data after a couple of days. Right now the battery seems to have depleted to the extent that it doesn't throw appreciable light at all.The other one performs as expected. We placed them over our entry door and over some steps on our front deck. The light is cool but sufficient to make us feel safe in our rural, dark-sky environs.The surprise to me was the shape of the light. In the photo, they look like boxes. They are actually wedges, with the "top" edge (the one that doesn't contain the LED bulb) very narrow. When you mount them flat to a wall, the light angles outward. In our case, this is a good thing, but you might not be expecting it.

I ordered these and another set that were identical from another seller (both through Amazon). Out of the 4 total lights I received, one of them turned out to not work, but it easily could have just needed a replacement battery. I think the lights actually put out a decent amount of light, but you have to be realistic about the kind of output you're going to get for a solar/LED light - you will never get the same brightness or warm color like you get from incandescents.I hung them on the privacy fence in my back yard, attempting to highlight my flower beds. They were hung about 4-5 feet high (tried different heights to compare), in full sun, and when illuminated, they covered about a 3-4 foot radius. They stayed lit through sunrise. Up close, I liked the effect of the lights (and the pattern) on the plants, but as my back yard is so deep, the effect was lost from further away. Had I been installing these in a walkway or closer-in area, I would have kept them, but I ultimately returned them.

I had been searching for this type of wall mount solar lights and did not want to pay a fortune for them. The price on these was the best I had found and I was pleasantly suprised with the quality of the product. The added bonus was the light gives off a very cool lattice pattern light. I used these on the wall by my pool and mounted them about 5 feet high and the light pattern spans a good 5-6 feet to the right and left of the light. Just the right amount of light by the pool. They have been up about 3 weeks and come on at dark and are still lit until after 1am. Great value and very stylish.

I know this product is good however, the last order is defective...it does not work. Please replace it. I hope the manufacturer will replace it...will send back the defective item!

Even at full charge, the light is quite dim to be of much use.One of the sets the battery is so drained when I received it, I put it under the sun for a few days it still wont turn on at night, so I end up having to charge them with a battery charger. Then a few days after i run it, it start to get dimmer and dimmer.Save your money and buy something else.The 2 stars is because the design looks decent, and it does "kinda" work, just very very poor performance.

i ordered two sets, both from amazon, one in december and one in february. the first set came with no mounting hardware and one unit that was defective... i ordered the second set because the lights fit the project both in size and brightness. the second set did arrive with mounting hardware and both units are functioning well. set one was priced at approximately 10 dollars, the second set at 25 (?) (both with amazon prime).the lights themselves are not bright, give a diffused, patterned light, but do seem to last the required hours on a daily solar charge. if they had not had the right look for the project i would have returned them.
